I am happy to transfer memorials to anyone who asks. I'm grateful for the helpful genealogical information that others have posted to, and I am happy to have the opportunity to return the favor by creating memorials and by taking and sharing as many photos as I can. Any photograph that I have taken and posted on findagrave should be considered to be in the public domain. You may use it for non-commercial purposes without requesting permission from me.

There was no grave stone or marker. Cemetery employee took me to exact location of grave (area closest to camera).

That's good because your post has a lot of valuable information on it. Good to know both entries were for the same person as I thought.

RE: Michael Hodax
I think you should leave your record and delete hers because your record has more information and the picture of the headstone. The other record has very little info on it.

My cousin is going to call the cemetery to see if they have more info - maybe they could have someone take a picture of the whole stone so we could see what it says. I'm hoping the cert. Will have his parent's names listed which will add another generation to our Tree.I think it's great that you help others find their roots.

That's interesting - I heard my Gr. Grand Father was run over by a horse in NY - maybe his body was severed! But couldn't two people post the same grave? It isn't a common name - I think it is the same person. BTW how did you find the # for his death record? I ordered a copy - it should have more info on it. You have been a great help - I was hitting a brick wall with that side of my tree.

Okay - thank you and yes you are right - a partial is better than nothing. I think both records listed in the Washington Cemetery are for the same person. I ordered his death record from NY and that should have more info.

I believe Find A Grave Memorial# 130941637 could be my Gr. Grand Father - on stone it says age 95 but the DOB and DOD would have made him 82.

Do you have any more info on this person? Can you show the entire headstone?

It's best to keep older memorials when possible. Memorials can be moved. Could you please request an older memorial to be moved rather than adding an additional memorial?

Thank you

RE: Brounstein photo
