Elna Fulford Currier The cemetery records show that Elna Fulford Currier was buried in the Pecan Cemetery with no marker at this time. However, she should be buried in Section B, Row 26, Plot L according to records handed down from the caretaker during that period. This should be six rows from the back on the North side. I was reading a message that you had left on the creator of the John William Wheeler memorial. I am a direct descendant of his son William. In the message you stated that William had served in the Civil War. I was interested in who you were referring? John Wheeler supposedly died in 1846. His son William emigrated to Texas about 1839. He was too old to fight in the Civil War as he would have been about 70 when the war started. His oldest son Ransom also did not fight; however, Ransom's son Lycurgus fought in the Civil War. William's sons Alford & Preston did fight in the war.
Just curious to which William you were talking about. Tina (Wheeler) Sanders
