I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
Again, I no longer use chalk
If I use the EDITS tab for additional information, I do not have a record of where the information came from. I will no longer accept this form of updating a listing. Anyone wishing me to put information on a listing should send me a "find a grave" e-mail requesting the information be added.

Dear Mr. Dunne,
There are two memorials posted for Rev. John Bliss Shaw on this site. Yours shows that he's buried in North Granville Cemetery in North Granville, and the other has him buried in Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Granville.
Is the other memorial an error?

Thomas you have submitted some duplicates memorials (2013) in Battenville Cemetery which I had submitted in 2009 thinking the cemetery was the "McLean" cemetery, from a piece of family info (one who wrote all the names and dates), having never visited that area. I would be willing to somehow do something about not having duplicates - these are the same cemeteries yes?

This is the grave of my Uncle Bernie. His parents are also buried at Evergreen. I do not have the lot number, but they are buried behind the large memorial wall at the back of the cemetery. I have several family members from my mothers side buried in Evergreen also.
So I thank you for the searches you do, the pictures you provide, and use of your valuable time to help others.
Have a blessed Day;

I so appreciate you help. I live in Jackson, Mississippi, at my age this is an avenue I have no avenues to research. Your kindness has touched my heart.
Once ago when times were better, I hired a runner in Devon, England for 14 months. Who carried this family with Church Records to the 1625. I have never found a researcher other than I who cared.
I have family in print, not published. I sincerely appreciate your kindness and thank you for the research site, but I am dial up, so nothing works.
Sincere appreciation for your help!
Thanks for the great photos. Much appreciated.
