I am a retired businessman who enjoys genealogy as a hobby. I find that genealogy and "Find a grave" go hand in hand and its easy to do both at the same time and both are very rewarding.
In adding Memorials for those in my family I have added memorials for many non-relatives in hope that it will help others as others have helped me. If I've submitted a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to you, just ask. I live in the Omaha metro area and thats where most of my photos were taken.
Researching Bender, Ausdemore,Hittner, German,Ternus, Bockholt, Hatzenbuehler, Kramer, Wickelman and many others. Most of My family came from Germany in the Mid 1800s and settled in the North Eastern Nebraska German farming comunities and spread from there.
In my research if I run across a grave of someone in the Military that is Killed in Action they get special attention and i try to find out as much as i can about them and put it on the Memorial. We owe it to these Heros and they should not be forgotten.
I authorize anyone to use my photos for any reason.

Buras 1896-1953, and Nellie E. Buras 1896-1993. All three graves are together. I sent you an email as well. Blessings to you and yours, Marsha | | | Amy
 | RE: Franklin Ritter Thank you, Loren--yes, if you don't mind I would like management of Uncle Frank's memorial (memorial #56790680). To answer your question, I believe that he died in the Battle of Luzon. I will have to ask my grandmother, his sister, to be 100% certain, but I think that's correct. He served with my grandfather, and my grandfather fought in the Battle of Luzon. Uncle Frank introduced my grandfather to my grandmother, and my father was named after him.
Thank you so much for offering to transfer management of his memorial to me, and thank you for tending to it!

 | PFC Franklin W. Ritter Hello, Loren,
My grand uncle was PFC Franklin W. Ritter (memorial #56790680). I have a very good photo of him that was taken June 10, 1941. I'd like to add it to his memorial page, but since you maintain his page I wanted to ask your permission first.
On a side note, it may interest you to know that Frank had a brother named Loren.

 | Frank Batterson
Loren, The I believe the crew photo you posted for Frank T. Batterson is not the right Frank Batterson. The one that was in the crew photo and in the 303rd was Frank L. Batterson. We had a typo in his name in the caption previously. I'm fairly certain the photo should go with memorial 16832416.
Thanks, GaryAdded by GLM on May 13, 2013 9:09 AM | | | Russ Pickett
