 | RE: Cummings photos You are quite welcome. As you can see there was snow. We cleaned it off as much as we could but snow will be in our area until late spring almost June. They are buried in a very nice area at Mount Moriah. Lots of trees with well cared for gravestones. | | | Tonya Brewer

 | CUMMINGS family in Butte, MT Dear Lillie, I have posted your request for a photo of Anna Cummings grave marker. Please enter and request grave photos for Harry Cummings 1894 - 1939 and Everett Cummings 1914 - 1962. All three are at Mount Moriah in the same location. I'll add the photos and specific locations at that time. | | | Baxter B. Fite III
 | Co. F, 86th Illinois and the Jones, Freemole, Barbero and Dickson families Dear Lillie, Before anymore time goes by, I just wanted you to know again how much I appreciate you letting me borrow the sites of the veterans of the 86th Illinois that you have. Rudolph Jones had a lot of family in Co. F of the 86th Illinois. Two sons and several son-on-laws. I have been working furiously on their biographies over the last few days trying to tie them all together. I have a lot of work to do on them yet and I would love to tie them all together through Find A Grave as well. I am hoping you can help me more as well with their biographies. If you can go to my Contributor site and then go to my Virtual Cemetery for Co. F, I would appreciate it, as you have time, to take a look at the biographies of the two Jones brothers, as well as the biographies of John Barbero, Augustus Dickson and Matthew Freemole. I have so many questions right now, but, right now, I am would like to know if you think Matthew's wife, Rosalia, is related to the Jones family. Lots of questions and lots of work to do, but, again, just wanted you to know how much I appreciate what you are allowing me to do. I would also be very interested in what you think about what I now have about the two Jones brothers. Sincerely, Baxter | | | Debra

 | RE: Augustus Dickson, Co. F, 86th Illinois, Maquon Cemetery Dear Lillie, Thanks for entrusting me with the Find A Grave site of Augustus Dickson, of Co. F of the 86th Illinois. I consider it a great honor to be able to write about these veterans of the Civil War. Thanks for all you have done for Find A Grave and for all you will yet do. Sincerely, Baxter | | | Lois
 | Ouderkirk I am still searching for more of the Ouderkirk family. Most died in Maquon, Knox County, Ill. area and supposedly is buried there. Do you know of others, particularly Sarah E. (Cook) and Harvey and their children Henry J., Harvey and daughter Clara's husband Frank Briggs. Thanks for your help. LoisAdded by Lois on Apr 07, 2011 10:22 AM | | | C Melton
 | The Grabill's/Melton's In the Maquon Cemetery you have a listing for Charles Daniel Grabill and a son, Leo C. Grabill. In both listings you have the wife and the mother as Elizabeth. I do know that a Charles Grabill married Elizabeth Melton. Do you know if this women is one and the same? If it is, she is the sister of my husband's Grandfather, Oliver (Ollie) Clarence Melton. There was also another sister, Chloe who married a Van Smith. Would you happen to have any info about all of them, as I have been trying to put together the MELTON Family tree and they are proving to be quite elusive. Any help in obtaining information would be greatly appreciated. Connie MeltonAdded by C Melton on Feb 10, 2010 8:50 AM | | | Thomas W Maguire
 | Anton Schoenberger Your Relative Anton Schoenberger was more than likely born in Rechtenstein as there are no other cities that I see that are spelled the way you did. By the way I found info on ancestry.com on him. And a document image of where he was enlisted as a teamster. | | | | [View all messages...] |
