Jacob Burns had a sister named Susan.... and one named Catherine. Susan married my ancestor, Charles Ruby.... and Catherine married his brother, Jacob.
Since Susan and Catherine were sisters to this Jacob Burns..... I thought you might know more about the family. And it might help me find the Rubys..... in some way. I try to go down all roads.

Julie, Julie, Julie!!! However did you find this grave? Are you related to the Burns? or to the Rubys? I am a descendent of the Rubys..... and track the Burns to some degree because of the marriages.
I'm soooooo appreciative of this gravesite. Do you have any documentation that goes with it?

Hi Julie,
It is very good to hear from you. When I did the Dale Family Tree I found Daniel's 4 wives. He helped to lay out the city of Bennington and I was very happy that my two brothers and I were able to go to Bennington and look around in the cemetery.
When doing the Dale History, I asked my dad if he had anything that could help me and he said no. Then on his 80th Birthday he pulls out this old photo album and says, "I don't know if this will help but you can have." I was flabbergasted.
Digital Copies. I've never done that but will see if I can learn.

Hey Julie,
I am a relative of Lydia Sommer Baughman, as her grandfather John Sommer was brother to my greatgrandfather Peter Sommer. They were married to sisters, Anna and Bena Smith. My dad, Peter David Summer Jr, passed away June 9, 2010 at the age of 86. I live in the Atlanta, Ga area.My dad was the only son of Peter D. Summer, and he had only one son, my brother Peter D. Summer III, who had no sons. I have two sons, Derek and Devin, who also carry on the Summer name.

He is buried in Highview cemetery. I have changed the memorial. If you have photo of his and Maud's gravestone and want to enter them in FindAGrave, go ahead and I will delete my memorial.
