Update on Grandma Frannie:
She is recently home (for the 2nd time) from the nursing home and is getting physical therapy. Frannie was starting to get on her feet, and recuperating from her accident. She was so happy to be be able to live at home and have her dad with her again.

Frannie took very good care of him for the past 7 years, after her Mother passed away. She took her responsibility of looking after Grandpa very seriously. Before he got the pacemaker, his heart would stop and he passed out. Several times he got terrible injuries. Every time she nursed him until he was strong again. She made sure he got good medical care and didn't let any thing go unattended. She fought with the Ins. Co. to get him a pacemaker.

He was doing quite good, after he got the pacemaker. He used to go to do his strength training 3 times a week and a balance class 1 time a week. Frannie got him a gym membership 2 years ago and she drove him faithfully, until her accident, then we took him. On the days he didn't go to his gym, he walked outside and used his cross-country and bike at home. He was doing very good. His mind was very sharp and he was happy that he could do nearly everything for himself.

Recently Grandpa had a bad fall and he passed away a few hours later. Frannie always put Grandpa before herself. Now she is not eating, having trouble sleeping and cries easily. She blames herself, as she thinks she should have prevented the fall. My dad (her son) says she is not to blame and she could never have prevented the fall. Grandpa was very strong and doing well, until the fall. It was unexpected, we weren't prepared. We expected that he would have many good years left. We lost our Grandpa, I can't believe he is gone.

Grandma Frannie is devastated and still in shock. We need her help with his memorial, so it's up but not complete yet. The world has lost a beautiful soul.

Your kind flowers and messages, have truly touched our hearts and you are a really big comfort to our family.

We will try to visit your loved ones as often as we can.

Thank you for your prayers. GOD BLESS YOU. Gracie and our family.

Jack Williams - please add info
Hi - On April 3, I sent you a request to update your memorial for Jack Williams, #64648959. There was a photo request for him, and I discovered that his grave location in Columbia Cemetery is unknown and he has no headstone. I asked that you add that to his memorial, so that people don't continue to make photo requests for him. To date, that info still hasn't been added. Would you please add that info? Thanks, Amy

Irene Willey
Hi Gracie,
Irene Willey's maiden name is Fagerstedt. She was my Aunt. She died long before I was born but my mother spoke of her often. Irene had Toxemia (A potentially fatal pregnant women's disease). Irene died shortly after giving birth and her baby didn't survive birth. I know because I inherited the condition with both my children. My pregnancies brought caused great worry and grief for my mother. I was hoping that you would link Irene and baby with her parents so that she would be with her family. Father Frank Fagerstedt memorial #32930316 and Mother Blanche Fagerstedt memorial #32919888. Thank you for your great and loving contributions. Mary Jo Choate

Aaron graves
I reported my problem locating Hayward & Franklin Aaron at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Georgetown, S.C. on the main F.A.G. site. If you come up with any new leads let me know and I'll take another look. In the meantime, I posted an overview picture on their memorials in case their graves were one of the unmarked ones.
