I live in Iowa and am researching my family history as time allows. I often go out and about taking photos of tombstones. I enjoy scrapbooking, gardening, biking, walking Thaddy and some day Tilly, making bead jewelry, photoshop and FIND A GRAVE forums.|

I am presenty working on a project to identify the last resting places of Civil War soldiers/sailors that had any ties to Vermont. Joseph Jewett is one such soldier. May I use the photo you posted to Find A Grave, to use on the Vermont Civil War site ?(www.vermontcivilwar.org) You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration on this.

Could you recommend to Find A Grave that your photo of the cemetery be the one used on entries for Goldenrod, Deep River, Iowa? It is so much more pleasing than the one which comes up.

Hi, I was going out to Oak Grove Cemetery this week and wanted to fulfill the requests for that cemetery. A lot of the memorials have plot numbers and I was wondering if there is a plot map there or if there is one available online?

Donna, she is the wife of Allen Horace Mallory Sr. The stone is hard to read, but it says "died in her 49th year of age" not 19th.
She died 15 Oct. 1847
She had 11 kids and was born about 1798.
