My particular areas of interest are Berks, Montgomery, Schuylkill, Chester, Montour and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania. My strongest passion is to locate and honor all war veterans who sacrificed years of their youth, healthy lives and sometimes their adulthood. They must never be forgotten.
All of my entries to findagrave have been added with honor, one by one!
Hello Neil,

Thank you for contacting Find A Grave in regard to making changes and corrections.
We have increased our requirements regarding documentation in order to improve the accuracy of information available on Find A Grave.
They will need to send documentation for the update (i.e. link to website, official paperwork, source, documents, etc.) as to where this information was located. You, as a manager, can determine if the information is substantial.
If you need additional assistance, please feel free to reply to this message.

Many contributors are speculating on burial locations of old pioneer family members with no proof of burial. This may be encouraged by contributors who will not link to memorials listed as unknown cemetery. This practice is very deceiving for serious researchers who will be misguided in their research for accurate results. It also is misleading for those requesting gravesite photos. Without proper burial records, I may chose to decline family links.

Please consider that the information given in memorials is not only provided by the memorial manager but also by others through edit requests which cannot always be verified. These edit requests could also be added without the review of the memorial manager if not acknowledged in a given time period.

Please do not assume a middle name by suggesting a surname. I will not add without some official record such as obituary, death, burial, birth record, tombstone or individual's signature. Middle initials on tombstones with first letter of mother's surname are seldom the actual baptized middle name which many incorrectly add as fact. Such initials are also often redundant with maiden names. I prefer to display names as they are most commonly perceived by skilled researchers and/or as they appear on the tombstone.

My thanks and devotion to you who are courteous, polite and appreciative. Those who are rude, demanding and condescending, are not in the best interests of findagrave principles.

My Patriots of the Revolution include:
George Herbst 1712, George Dry 1725, Johannes Koch 1725, Jacob VanReed 1726, Michael Bauer 1729, Daniel Guldin 1735, Johann Christian Scheidt 1736, Michael DeLong 1739, Phillip mathias 1740, Bernhard Eitel 1745, Michael Krebs 1744, Henrich Knauss 1746, John De Turck 1747, Marmaduke Von Buskirk 1750, John Grant 1754, Sebastian Koch 1757, John Breidegam 1757, William Krumrath(Cronrath). My Loyalist who fought for the British is Christian Flicker.

RE: Hooper Island photos
Thank you for messaging me. I will sometimes upload photos to a cemetery and transcribe them later. I do try to be diligent and not upload duplicates or lesser photos, though I will sometimes use less aesthetic photos if I think the print is easier to read due to lighting or what not. I certainly don't want to clutter memorials or get in the way of family photos. If you let me know which ones you'd like me to remove it won't be a problem.
Thank you again,

RE: Daniel Murray - Blairsville PA
Thanks so much for your reply and input, Neil.
I was looking at the book the 'History of the County of Westmoreland, PA' volume 1 page 618 on the Murry family and it lists all of James and Susanna's children and unfortunately Daniel wasn't listed.
Thanks for trying to help me out here. I appreciate your input so much!

Daniel Murray - Blairsville PA
A few years ago we messaged concerning my Murray family in Blairsville PA. Daniel was my 3rd GGrandfather, Civil War veteran,

I think you had mentioned that you knew more about Daniel. If that is the case, can you share your information with me? I'm at a dead end in researching who his parents might have been. I had added to his Bio, that he was a son of Daniel and Rebecca Murray, but I don't know where I got this info. Maybe you sent it to me. And if they are Daniel (Junior's) parents, do you know anything about them?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Thank you for adding my Uncle Harry, but I have found out that he is not Buried at the Charles Evans Cemetery. He was cremated there, but his remains are not buried in the cemetery. I trying to find out if his wife Johanna has his remains or if she had them buried somewhere else.

Holloways in St. Pauls of Amityville

Do you have any information that links Joseph Holloway #20482991 to Lucetta Holloway Boyer #20468489 as her father? Also, do you know if she had children other than thetwo sons, John and Morris Boyer?
