Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE do not take my photos (family pictures or grave photos) and use elsewhere, especially Ancestry, without my permission. There's personal family photos I've never even uploaded to Ancestry but have ONLY placed on Find A Grave that have been taken and put on other's Ancestry trees, and they aren't even related to us!! Really??????

Most of my work is from "mowing the rows" in our local cemeteries or in those that are special to me when I get a chance to visit. I try to be very thorough in what I do post to this site. My favorite part of contributing to Find A Grave is walking the cemeteries and taking photos. ACCURATE cemetery documentation is very important, and this is why I do what I do.
.
I love to research and link families, and add biographical information - please use the Edit tab and send me any information you would like to have added, and I will add based on the rules for bios set in the Find A Grave FAQ's.
.
I transfer only within the four-generation
Find-A-Grave guidelines.
.
PLEASE carefully check the cemetery in which you want to list a memorial (it doesn't hurt to quickly check the county too) BEFORE you list it, as one may already exist for that person. Duplicate memorials for the same person, ("Dupes"), whether accidental or intentional, are not allowed by F-A-G. Duplicates erode the quality of this site and are problematic for many reasons. I will send you a friendly SAC if I see one.
.
It is very sad that quite a few contributors continue to misuse this site and post entries as permanent BURIAL UNKNOWN, both recent deaths and those 100 years ago or more.
This is Find A GRAVE, not a memorial site for generations of folks who have passed on and we do not know where they are buried, or for certain what happened to their remains.
.
I do not add entries for those with unknown dispositions (Burial Unknown) to Find A Grave. I also will not link my managed memorials to those without proper dispositions. Please do not link any BURIAL UNKNOWN entries to the memorials I manage; I will request the links to be removed if I become aware they have been linked.
.
PLEASE realize this is a GRAVES REGISTRATION SITE, not a place for you to build your family tree :) If you do not know where the person was buried, or the final disposition of the remains, you should not be listing the person on FIND A GRAVE.
.
The most recent FAQ's regarding the purpose of this site:
What is Find A Grave?
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record
and present final disposition information
from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration
of the final disposition.
If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the
main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials may contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can
leave remembrances via ‘virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family,
friends, and ‘famous' individuals.

.
Find A Grave is definitely a genealogical RESOURCE, but not a genealogical SITE..... There's a difference :)

RE: 3rd Great Grandpa
Well thats definantley the same William H Fisher then. I remember my Grandpa George Fisher talking about Joseph Askew Fisher which was his great grandpa, he said he was born with polio and he delivered the mail by horseback over there in Marshall, Madison County. The family new of William and and general whereabouts of his grave they always said it was in the Bull Creek area but I never got the specifics until now. Not sure if you know but William enlisted in the 15th North Carolina Company K in 1860 at the age of 22 he was wounded at The Battle of Wilderness Virginia and was hospitilized and recovered and was released and when the war was over came back to the Madison County and lived out the rest of his life. My dad and I am planning a trip to marshall to visit his grave. Thanks again for the info and the reply hope to talk again soon

3rd Great Grandpa
Hello my name is Brandon Fisher I'm trying to determine if this is the grave of my 3rd Great Grandpa William H Fisher father of Joseph Askew Fisher. WE have been trying to locate his grave for sometime and according to all my dads people who are from and still reside in Madison County NC he is buried there near the Bull Creek area maybe. Any info and or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Olive Branch Cemetery in Clark County, Indians
I did find there is an Olive Branch Cemetery in Clark County, IN. But I am 100% certain that the memorials that either I created or manage are in the correct Olive Branch Cemetery in Washington County Indiana. The Elrod's are direct ancestors of my husband and mostly lived in Washington County. The other contributor(s) apparently mistakedly picked up the Clark County cemetery in error. The tombstone photos are from the Washington County cemetery. That contributor is the one that should be contacted to correct the errors. Thanks for catching it.

Elrod in Olive Branch Cemetery
I received your edit request regarding the duplicate memorials for the Elrods in Olive Branch Cemetery. I live by the Olive Branch Cemetery that is located in Washington Co Indiana and it is the correct cemetery where they are buried. It is NOT located in Clark Co Indiana. I'm not even sure there is an Olive Branch Cemetery in Clark County Indiana. The memorials I manage were created long before the other contributor created the duplicate memorials in the wrong county. It's not my issue to resolve.

RE: Benjamin Buckner
Hello Cousin,

It's nice to know there is still Family out there.

I called Dan Ball my Great-Grandfather and should have said Great-Great Grandfather, but I think it still comes out the same when we are referring to Greats.

So here goes:

Daniel Benjamin Ball Find Memorial# 39315037
was my great-great Grandfather
he married:
Lucity Pamela (Spiva) Ball Memorial# 39314712
my great-great-Grandmother

Lydia Jane (Ball) Sparks Memorial# 39315428
married my great-Grandfather
Edmond H Sparks Memorial# 39315415

Their Son,
Daniel Webster "Webb & Frosty" Sparks
Memorial# 25825464 who was my Grandfather
married my Grandmother
Irma L. (Nash) Sparks Memorial# 25825456

Their daughter Betty is my Mom

You can always email me direct if you like.
