RE: RL Baker Hill
I don't belong to ancestry... yet. I live near an excellent genealogy library, and have not thus far seen the need. But, thanks for the response! I think it's very possible that the women were employees, as Nancy was divorced and without support.

RL Baker Hill
Is this the same "Beker" Hill listed with Samuel and Mary Beam in the 1850 census in Beaver Co., Pennsylvania? I think Mary's maiden name was Hill. I am curious what connections they may have to a Nancy and Ann Powel, living with this family in the 1870 census there. Nancy is my g-g-g grandmother, and I am stuck on her family. She carried a gene for genetic blindness called retinitis pigmentosa. Do you know of any connections?

RE: Jerry and Ruth Samek
You are very welcome. That's why I volunteer. People all over have helped me find my family. Least I can do is return the favor.

I am going to try to find your relatives tomorrow. I know where the cemetery is and it only has 59 graves, so I should be able to find them and photograph them. By the way, Irvin Cemetery is in Rochester, PA. Beaver County, not in the town of Beaver. Carol Stoffar

William Durr Hill
I am working on my grandmothers ancestry
Pheobe Francis Hill, I have been unable to find her anywhere except on my mother birth certificate and in the 1920 census. She died around 1923 and was born around 1886 and they lived in Beaver Falls area, I found your posting on William and I know this is a long shot but my I did notice associated names of Francis and Mae.
My grandmother named her children: Nora Mae, Frederick William,Ruth, Bruce Russell and Jean.

Again I am taking a long shot and was wondering if you knew any more about William Durr's Family?
