MEMORIAL DAY

Beneath the boughs of ancient trees
A little flag defies the breeze
And every carvings's stark relief
Reminds us of a day of grief.

The flowers in the vase soon wilt
And over time, the markers tilt;

The letters on a stone may blur
But even after decades stir
The memories of those before,
Of how they'd smile and laugh and roar.

And standing on this gusty hill
I think that they are with us, still.

William Harrison Miller
There is a very small mistake on his memorial - Clay City instead of Clay Center. Wm is my great grandfather and while relying only on my memory right now, I don't think he was born in Steubenville as the family lived more in the vicinity of Hudson (South edge of Steuben County). If you have info showing that he was born in Steubenville, I would like to add it to my records. If you are related, I would be very happy to share. Thanks for creating the memorial; I am new to all this and still figuring out a lot - don't think it would be there if up to me!

MANY thanks for all your efforts! Much appreciated.

I've tried to help with my relatives in Riley cemetery. Am stuck. How do I add name of second wife to Dave Griffiths? AND, how add listing of his children?

Thanks.
