I am a retired pediatric nurse. My husband and I travel often, but mostly on cruise ships. Some day I need to convince him we need to travel on land. We both have so many historical figures in our family tree. I would love to see the areas of our country where it all began.|
I am always glad to transfer a memorial I have created to a family member.
Many of the memorials created are taken directly from the lists created by Ancestry or Historical Societies. I have thousands more to add.

I tried to add the picture tonight 4 times and it would not go through. I will try tomorrow.

Debbie, thank you, but would you please remove me as taking care of the memorial for George J. Dyckes. He is not a direct member of my family and I feel like it should go to one of them. If you would, please transfer the memorial to T. McLean (#47593837). Terry is a direct member of this family.
Also, George was not married to Bertha May Dyckes (1896 - 1970), he was married to Helen Louise Hendryx.

That would be fine.
There's a long story about the Abbotts, mostly sad.

What a great picture you have on Frank's memorial! I assume that's Louie and Jane with him. Are you related? I am to the Merrifields-Lucinda's mother. Bruce Gillett
How lucky for you to live in such a beautiful area...I have family living in Sarasota and am just a frequent visitor.

Debbie, my name is Ray Harris. All of my people were from Bedford County and marshall County Tennessee. If you have any info on them, I would appreciate it. Also trying to find out the name of my 2nd great grandfather Francis Marion Harris, fathers name.He was born somewhere in north Alabama I think.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Many thanks for your headstone photography. I know what's involved in traveling to the cemetery, finding the plots, sometimes cleaning the headstones, taking the pictures, and uploading them; all for a perfect stranger. I really appreciate your efforts.
Thanks and best regards, Karl Hamlin
