Emails for some reason are ending up in my junk files. If you haven't heard back from me try again.
If you have additional info to add please use the edit tab. Don't leave it in the flower section chances are it won't be found unless you email me.
When you request additions to be added, and you are related to that person or a friend please state so I'm not in it for the numbers so I can transfer them to you if you would like.
I'm willing to transfer memorials outside the guidelines (if they aren't my kin) I think they are better being in the hands of family and close friends than going unattended. We can and will transfer a memorial to you if you have a close relationship to one of the memorials that I have added. I do ask if I transfer the memorial to you and someone who is of a closer relation asks for it that you would let that person have the memorial. Occasionally I find obits and soc sec records and pass them on.
Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits!
Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.
To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.
Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!
The exception: Requesting a transfer, adding family links, or other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.
Bulk surname requests should not be made."
A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken tombstone pictures for me. and transfers you have so generously made to me.
Do not move your Burial Unknown or a memorial from an incorrect cemetery into the correct cemetery based on my correctly placed memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. I will not delete any of my memorials anymore, I will submit them for merge and let FAG decide who's was placed correctly first.
Find A Grave states on duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.
