I'm the genealogist for the family. I love searching, and adding to the giant family tree that I have researched.|
I am an art teacher, gardener, naturalist, book reader, and love puzzles. I love photography, and find cemeteries interesting for the stone sculptures and art on the monuments, and for the quiet peace you find there.
Growing up I spent may happy Sunday afternoons playing in cemeteries while my parents and grandparents tended the family's graves, planted loads of flowers, tended urns, washed the markers, and pulled weeds. My brothers and I became familier with the names on the tombstones as if they were name plaques on someone's home, as we romped and played. And it has become a habit of mine, now that they all are gone, to still feel quite at home in a cemetery.

Yes, I did check before making the memorial and yours did not show up.

Thomas Hatch #34355039 was my 9th Great Grandfather. Are you also his descendant? I'm an amateur Genealogist. Would you care to exchange/share a Family Tree/Lineage? Thank you very much for your consideration.

Hi Diane. We are related through the Clidence Family. My 4th great-grandmother was Elizabeth Clidence/Klinedienst or any of the other various spellings of the last name. I know you are related to her sister, Mary Ann. Can you tell me how so I can figure our what our relationship is to each other? You can answer here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks I look forward to hearing from you. I have added a couple of pictures to Mary Ann's memorial. Hope you have them or if not, I would be glad to send them to you!

Sorry Diane I forgot to put the full name of the man I sent the previous message about.

First of all let me thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave. The work you have contributed is immensely appreciated.
Next, according to the U.S. Civil War Soldiers, 1861-1865 List Matthew did serve in Co. F 3rd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry but is listed as a UNION soldier.
On the American Civil War Soldiers List it states Matthew enlisted as a UNION soldier in Company F, 3rd Infantry Regiment Kentucky on 8 Oct 1861, at Camp Wolford.
Enlisted as a Private on 3 November 1861.
Received a disability discharge from Company F, 3rd Infantry Regiment Kentucky on 21 Sep 1863 at Nashville, TN.
There is a possibility there is another Matthew Delaney but I have not found one.
Would you consider looking further into the matter and if CONFEDERATE is incorrect changing it?
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Regarding your request to connect James Quisenberry to his parents, Aaron and Joyce (Dudley), I do not connect to memorials with a "burial unknown". - Pat
|Jane from MI||Lydia Young Hatch|
Thank you for making the memorial for Lydia Young Hatch #59390421. Do you have a source for her maiden name and connecting her to John Young #51533688 and Abigail Howland Young #51533778? I see that in a lot of trees but can't find a source. I descend from their daughter Martha who married Sylvannus Cottle. Thanks for you help. Jane from MI email@example.com

A polite request would have received a positive response. I see that you have created a new non-existent cemetery in Cass County. His burial is actually in nearby Carroll County in Seceder Cemetery.
