This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. Please get locations before requesting photos from Inglewood Park Cemetery. If the memorial only has a plot name (i.e., "Fairhaven") you will need to ask for the lot number. The office staff are very helpful.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos. NOTE: I do NOT watermark my photos and I wish others would do likewise. There is no reason to plaster your name on photos or place objects, flowers, etc. over the headstones when photographing them. If you don't want people to use the photos, you should NOT be sharing them on a website.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

I noticed you have claimed the photo requests for Joseph and Vera Randall in Inglewood Park Cemetery. I have contacted the cemetery to get the location of Vera's parents, Lawrence Barnabas Lake (#153273265) and Prudence Matilda Smith Lake (#153273531) but have not had a reply to my request. Please check around the location of the Randall's and see if the Lakes are there. I would like photos of their graves also. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all the fotos, and for confirming that Mildred's father is also with them. This is what Find a Grave is all about.
Thank you so much for the beautiful photo of the Marsh tombstone. I truly appreciate your efforts on my behalf.

Thank you for your effort and in my mind it was a postive effort. I had my grandmother's notes to go on and I have updated the info on his plot. To my knowledge no one has been to my grandfather's grave since his burial. My Dad was only about 10 when he died. My grand parents were divorced, but made arrangements through relatives. I plan to visit and will be looking into a maker for him at a later date. I have the same situation with a great grandmother in Forest Lawn. Sad, but correctable. Thank you for your time and using the silk flowers to clearly mark the spot where he is buried. Very nice touch. John Williams
