Bio and Links
Bio Photo My passion is researching and writing family history. The saying "you can't make this stuff up" is true. FAG is one of the tools I use for my research so if I bug you with questions about one of your memorials please forgive me. I am just trying to make sure I have the right person that I am writing about. My family has lived here in Jasper Co, Mo. for about 160 Years, so we have some relatives in almost every local cemetery. As I walk thought them I sometimes take pictures of other stones. Headstones for babies seems to be hard for me to pass by. Most of my memorials are members of my own family and I would like to keep those, but if I have someone in your family I would be happy to transfer them to you. I try and match pictures of stones with infor from Mo. State Archives website. Family names I am researching is Fowlkes, Casey, Hendry, Smallwood, Purcell, and Gary.

Hey cousin, I don't suppose you would transfer him to me so that I can add my grandmother and children, would you? Louisa wasn't his only wife, as you know. I'd like to tie him to my line, too.

Robert V Endicott
If possible, I'd like to maintain the listing for Robert V Endicott. He is my gg grandfather. I have more connections and information to add to him.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you so much for finding him. We had no idea where he was buried until we found your posting.

Could you pass this one to me also? She is the daughter-n-law of John and Dottie (and my grandmother).

Hello Priscilla!
Very exciting to hear from family I don't even know. :) I have been researching my family for more than 12 years now, but I am only able to do it during my spare time. Would love to exchange information with you! Thanks for contacting me. Teri

RE: Elizabeth Rucker
Looking back at your first message, I'm not sure what you mean by the "Rucker from Tenn."

I did happen to come across Gideon Rucker while working on another project last week. On 8 March 1797, Wiatt Powell sold Gideon Rucker a 175 acre tract on Rutledge Creek (in what is now known as the Town of Amherst, Amherst County, VA) (Deed Book H, page 188).

On 17 April 1815, Gideon Rucker and wife Joyce sold Reuben Coleman a larger tract of 573.25 acres (including the 175 acres mentioned above) for $8,598.75. (Deed Book M, page 718).

I have not produced maps of these properties, but can do so. To my knowledge, this is the only information that I have on Gideon Rucker, although I would be happy to research him on a commissioned basis. I can be contacted at scott@historytech.com if interested in pursuing this.

RE: Elizabeth Rucker
During what time period would your Gideon Rucker be active? Last week, I did some Amherst County land research that involved Gideon Rucker in 1797 and Gideon Rucker & wife Joyce in 1815.
