I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about twelve years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand now. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please use the edit tab then the suggest a correction (SAC) bar. |
My brother Jim & I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 6 years of searching, we've located all the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, 1827 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.
You can try me at firstname.lastname@example.org if the Yahoo doesn't work

Tom, Thank you for posting the photos for Raymond Holt # 116296763. This is very helpful to our project to always remember those who served with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam. Thank you again. Allen - 11th ACR 1966-1967

Jim and Tom
This has been so much fun. I have had such a wonderful time. My suggestion is to leave a message on every family member that you can find. The message includes that this individual is a family member. Two weeks ago I meet by way of Find a Grave, a son of my cousin that I have lost track of many years ago. Not only my Cousin but also his 4 brothers and sisters. Yesterday, I found another family line that goes back to (Pres.) Franklin Pierce and then further back to the Captain of the Mayflower on her second trip to America. Today I find I help you in making a family connection.
You are most welcome. If I can be of further help, just let me know.
Many Blessings / Mary Christmas!

The City of Darrington owns and operates the cemetery. The city office is very small, three or four people so it may just take a call or two.
The phone number listed for the city is 360-436-1131. I took all of the pictures for the headstones two years ago. I currently live 10 miles from the cemetery and drive by it at least once a week.

On your name, are you related to the REECE names in Yadkin County, NC?
Thanks Tom for the photos of the Irick headstones...
