After spending a few years researching my family tree, I found very little information available on burials. When I found this site, I decided to help out, and list as many obits as I could, thinking it may help someone else researching their families.|
I live in Baker, LA now, born and raised in Baton Rouge, and spent 3 years in Central Michigan in the late 1960's.

If you'd like to transfer these graves to me, that would be great, since they're my parents and grandmother. Thank you for putting the information on the site.

thank you for your close review, I have found several multiple interments in a crypt with different names. I guess they were relative or close friends who shared the crypt. Could be the closeness or to save money on the burial.
I have 4-5 rows on the south side left and will start the north side of Sweet Olive next.
I am saddened by the condition of Sweet Olive and find joy in being able to document the interments as much as possible. From the history I have found on line, there are the visible crypts and headstones showing interments and probably the same number hidden under the crypts since one article said the cemetery was closed at one time because all the in ground interment space was filled. My guess 8000-10,000 total interments.

I would like to take this time to thank you for your act of kindness of adding information about a family members. This does help a great deal. I am now adding information for families that might be researching family history. I actually found information about other family members I was research family history on Find a Grave. Again, thanks for your assistance and support.

I had to delete the dates, then save and add the dates back in to make them show up in the search screen. Ken
