|Wendall Fenstermann||RE: fletcher gravesite location|
Yes your date is correct, my map says 1863. The print was so small I had to go buy a magnifing glass to read it correctly.
There is no stone at this gravesite. There are the three stones to the north of this site. The one stone reads "Nye Infant son of John and Martha" which is the next gravesite north of William Fletcher. I took several pictures of the location before the mosquitos ran me out. I can't figure this system out to send the pictures but if you want me to send them to your home email I will, just let me know. Do not come to look until the mosquitos are gone.
I can't find the cementery map on my computer so have requested another which I will forward to you when I receive it. I don't have a way of scanning here at home my map that I work off.

Just joined the find a grave site today and was looking up one of the cemeteries I put flags on, for Veterans graves and read your request. I have a map that shows William Fletcher died 5-12-1883. The grave site is in the last row [west side], four graves in from the north. I show it in row X column 35 numbering left to right [south to north]. Hope this helps. If you are in the area sometime I could meet you at the cemetery if you email me a head of time. Wendall Fenstermann
Thanks so much for sponsoring the Gerretson/Crittenden Findagrave memorials. How nice of you to honor their memory in that way. I certainly appreciate all you have done to preserve artifacts & do research on the Hemingway Family Tree branch of the Crittenden/Gerretson Line.

It was so nice of you to sponsor Doc Gerretson's findagrave memorial. Thank you. Also thanks for putting the newspaper picture on the site. I don't have any pictures of Doc Gerretson...so please feel free to add any pictures of Doc or Maude. I have really enjoyed the interest & enthusiasm you have for the Gerretsons...you really should be made an honorary member of the clan!!

I didn't know your aunt. I'm the Goodhue County Keeper so I enter obituaries from several southeast Minnesota newspapers. I must have found your aunt's in the Owatonna paper. This site is a great way of preserving info that in the past would have disappeared.

Good to see you have joined in the world of findagrave...your notes & memorials are very welcomed additions to this site. Just to warn you,it is addicting...but a good addiction. I am very thankful that your "Maude search" on findagrave led you to find me.
I see you have already discovered 2 of my favorite findagrave contributors...Dave (who is originally from my hometown of Adams) & Kathy who is "the Mower Co. Keeper". Both of them are so helpful & very dedicated...really great people.
I saw the note you added to your aunt's memorial so I thought I'd transfer her to you.

I saw the wonderful memorial you wrote for Dave Gieske and that you had sponsored it so I felt it only right that I transfer his memorial to you.
