I have been interested in genealogy research for over 16 years. I enjoy taking photos and adding the information to this site in hope that it will help someone researching their family. I especially enjoy filling volunteer photo requests because it combines my love of photography, genealogy and volunteerism. If you see any mistakes or have additions to my postings, please let me know and I'll make corrections. I reserve the copyright of all my pictures. |
I willingly make transfers within the 4 generation "Find A Grave" Guidelines which are:
Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR EXACT RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
If you are seeking transfer to "have all your family together" ~ use the virtual cemetery button. Then all of the memorials will be in the same "cemetery", and you can look at them daily.
Tip: Please include the gravesite location when requesting a photo. This can be done by calling the cemeteries directly.

Hello! Regarding 153650778 that you are managing, this appears to be duplicate of Cornelia Malvina Donaldson Lewis (died 1864, buried Green-wood Cemetery, Brooklyn) that I'm managing. She was wife of Isaac Lewis III, and dtr of James Donaldson.
Is she related to you, important to keep? If not let me know if you can delete her.
She's my ancestor and glad to keep her.
Thank you again! The additional information you provided on Thomas Conway and his wife Bridget Conway was great. I appreciate it.
Thomas & Bridget's grand daughter - Mae Frohne McGrath - is also buried at Holy Cross.
Her grave is located:
Section: St. Charles Row: 16 Plot/Grave: 4
If you ever take photos in that area of the cemetery I would so appreciate a photo of her headstone.
Her Find A Grave # 159650261
Thank you so very much. What you are doing is of tremendous value to families who can not travel to distant cemetery destinations.

Please specify the names of the people at the gravesite for whom you are looking; I take so many pictures I have no recollection who I originally photographed for you.

Hi BK, Welcome to HC and thank you for your help. I hadn't been working on specific sections. With the requests on the site and finding older obituarys and names I was taking photos and uploading. Please if you should see i duplicated any of yours or anyother post please let me know. It isn't done purposely. If i see a name and find the grave listings I post and sometimes the names overlap. I do make every effort to check. Keep in touch.

I can send you the document I worked from if you want it. It is an excel document. I tried to verify the names but it is a long list and I did the best I could.

I worked off a document called "bodies in transit". Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the information on my great great grandfather (at least I am hoping this is him). I need a bit more information to match so will write for the death certificate. If it is him he belongs to the following:
Helen Abner b 1851 D 28 Jan 1895 buried with daughter at The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn.
B 17 Aug 1888 Brooklyn
D 26 Nov 1914 Brooklyn
Edward and two of his sons were cake bakers in both New Haven and Brooklyn. Just can't locate him after his youngest daughter Elsie passed in 1914. Thanks for the work. Pat

Cara, thank you so very much for the transfers. I apologize if my husband's request came off as aggressive. I have been trying to get the transfer of his mother's memorial since at least June and have been very frustrated with that. I also had noticed that an edit for the other Louise Haughton had been accepted right away but not the transfers. So I told him about these as well. Anita Hansen
