Bio Photo Amateur photographer in Massachusetts who has always enjoyed wandering through cemeteries and taking photos. Discovery of Find A Grave now gives me an excuse to get out with my camera and take photos.

And yes, my profile image is indeed from an actual headstone in the Forefathers Burial Ground of Chelmsford, Massachusetts for Oliver Fletcher (d.1771) (Find A Grave Memorial# 18168422).

RE: Please remove screen shots from memorials.
Hi Patrick
You are requesting that I eemove all of the photos I have attached? This is the first I saw your email. That is a shame, since it shows people's family members.
So, are you saying the only photos allowed are photos of the individuals. No death records or information related to the individual can be posted? Or just no screen shots from another website? Maybe I can put the information in some other format?

~ Dawn

Marion and Cecile Clevette
Thank you so much for the transfer of the two Clevette memorials. Also, thank you for catching that Flower Hill Cemetery oops. Not sure how I could even do that! I would have noticed it sooner or later, but I'm glad you caught it even sooner, so I could fix it. Thanks again!!

RE: Sorrina (Emerson) Thorp
Thank you for adding all that. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to find her birth name, date and parents. With all those different spellings it will be an interesting search. lol

I did notice there is a duplicate for her (spelled Sabina). I already sent SAC to have it removed.

Just one tiny fix on her page in the inscription. In the poem it says "five me ease". It should say "give me ease".

Again Thanks. Denise.

Ammi Ruhamah Faulkner
Per your request I am asking you for permission to use your very good photo of Ammi Ruhamah Faulkner on his page in my Schram Family tree on line at

I only wish that I had the time and money to visit every grave site that my ancestors who ever lived I would be happy. But thanks to people like you and me. (I have a pet project for the cemetery in Bellevue, MI. They have a cemetery called Riverside Cemetery, but it is called Bellevue Cemetery on Find A Grave. It's really a time consuming project of which my room mate does not understand my compulsions to do it.)

Thank you,

Jodie Schram Jenks

Elizabeths Parker
Regarding your suggestion to merge #135948346 with #18168942, I would suggest that these are for two different people, as both the parents and spouses disagree. The confusion likely arises from the fact they appear to have died in the same year. Based on additional digging I have done in Ancestry, I would further suggest that:

1.) The photo on the latter is the headstone of the former. Read the inscription. Wife of Benjamin (not Ebenezer). Died aged 69y 1m 10d --> puts DOB in 1696

2.) The former, Elizabeth (Warren) Parker (1696-1765), is my 7GGM, daughter of Joseph Warren & Ruth Wheeler, and wife of Benjamin Parker (1699-1773). The latter, Elizabeth (Parker) Parker (1691-1765) was the daughter of Lt. Moses Parker and Abigail Hildreth (my 1C10R and 9GGA, respectively) and the spouse of Ebenezer Parker (my 1C9R).

3.) The two husbands were 1st cousins, both grandsons of my 9GGF Jacob Parker.

4.) Ebenezer Parker and his wife Elizabeth (Parker) Parker (1691-1765) were 2nd cousins, both great-grandchildren of John Parker (1591-1630).

5.) Re the 11 day delta between the death date of 12/19/1765 on the tombstone of Elizabeth (Warren) Parker and the date of 12/30/1765 listed in the records, this coincides with the 11 days dropped in 1752 when the Julian calendar gave way to the Gregorian calendar. Not proof, but strongly suggestive.
