Hello Fred,
I appreciate your reply, and taking the time to answer my request. I have been in touch with Mrs. Wolfe, and she sent me a copy of her book on the Parker family. I went to old Gauley Cemetery the other day. I had to walk about three miles to the cemetery, timber cutters are in that area, and they have thorn the road up, it was very muddy, and in bad shape! The gravel road that leads to the cemetery is now unpassable, from the loggers.

Parker Families of Calhoun County, Miss.
Hi Fred,
I'm seeking info. about Henry Parker family, who came from Pickens County, Alabam, and moved to Calhoun County, Miss. before 1860. Henry married Nancy Jane Barnes, they had 8 children, their oldest son was William Joseph Parker, born 1847 in Alabama, his wife Malinda Caroline ? her maiden name is unknown? Henry and Nancy Jane were buried at Old Tabernacle Methodist Cemetery, in Calhoun County, Mississippi. I'm seeking the burial place of William Joseph & Malinda C. Parker, and her maiden name. One of their daughter's was Nancy Viola Parker, who married Charles Peter Brooks. Nancy Viola was buried at Old Gauley Cemetery, off of county road 309, in Calhoun County, Mississippi.
