He is not buried at Brinkman cemetery. I have spent countless hours looking for his grave, talking to the caretaker at the cemetery, etc. I live in California and I'm calling OK.
I have found two death notices in the paper and done a lot of research spending hours and hours and days and days...
He is buried at Centerpoint named Ladessa in Greer County, OK.

Roberta, If I request the merge, I'll have to wait 30 days. You can request it anytime by sending an email, or forwarding the initial email, to edit(at) Make sure you give them both memorial numbers.

Roberta, I can definitely understand the situation. The problem is that not entering what is on the marker leads to this type of duplication. That is why Find A Grave policy is to enter what is on the marker but note the discrepancy in the bio. That way the correct spelling will show up on a google search. I agree on the merger as you have a great memorial and wouldn't want it to be lost.

RE: Memorial Connection To Son
Sorry, but I think you have the wrong Frank. My Frank had two wives, 1) Iva Garner (2 children, Grace and Frank, Jr) and 2) Velma Nichols.

Good luck with your research. Have a blessed day!

RE: Memorial Transfer Request
I'll be glad to transfer her to you, as for Thomas, I have a cousin Mary Mays I think her granny was a Vaughn, I'll see if she knows anything. He may be buried there also, there are several markers that can't be read.

TURNBULL at Bell Cem. OK
In case you were wondering, the source on those edits I have put in (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.

Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

RE: Memorial #65056421- Mollie Shearin
My husband and I took what stones we could find in the cemetery. We may have missed it or there isn't a stone. In the old sections in the back there there are several field stone markers.
