Permission is freely given to copy photos uploaded by me at Findagrave. If you wish to ADD or EDIT biographical data on a page maintained by me, PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB on the upper right side of each person's memorial page. Registration on Findagrave is first required, and is free. I try to check this site a couple of times a week. Please be patient if I don't get to your edit request ASAP.
MANY thanks to our splendid hosts at Findagrave! (now owned by Ancestry.com/) Findagrave enabled the option of linking families years after I uploaded my grave data. If you find people not yet linked to their parents, use the EDIT button to notify me.
Did you know Findagrave is one of the top genealogy sites? Grave markers deteriorate or are swept away by hurricanes, floods or neglect. Please snap photos to preserve on Findagrave or on another family history website. NOTE: Years ago when I first uploaded hundreds of grave photos, Findagrave had a limit of under 300 kb per photo--unlike today. Many of my photos are therefore cropped and quite small. I regret not saving the originals, but storage space was limited and time consuming in the days before thumb drives, apps and virtual clouds.
THANK YOU, for all that you do. . Hello, Sandy... We've corresponded a few times in the past, regarding the various Childers families. Whenever I come across your name or memorials, I still wonder if our Childers ancestors might somehow connect in some way... (That would be nice). . I came across another of your memorials this morning and just wanted to take a moment, to thank you for your many years of careful research, genealogy work and contributions to Find A Grave. It's appreciated by so many. Once again, THANK YOU, for all that you do. . Peace and blessings, Cathy
RE: Esther Barbee Sandy, Thank you so much about Ester JewellBarbee Jordan. Will look into it and see what I can find. Sorry You haven't heard from me in a while have so any other things to do. I know you are researching the Jordan family but, I was wondering did Benjamin and Anna have any children of there own that you knew of? Linda
RE: Alice Cora Parker No. 11777612 Dear Norton, thank you for your offer to transfer Alice Cora Parker to me. It's up to you as to what you want to do, but I don't expect you to do that at all, you can transfer her to me, or you can keep her in your memorial, anything it okay with me. Thank you for your offer. If I ever have one memorial that you would like to have, just ask and I'll be happy to transfer to you. Again, thank you! Suzan
Alice Cora Parker No. 11777612 Lovely photos you shared to her wall. Today I rec'd notice you are sponsoring her page. Should you like me to transfer, I'd be happy to. (I have a memory that I've asked before, because I recall seeing the photos you shared a few years ago. Wonderful photos your family kept. I'm envious! Our photos seem to be scattered to the wind... My offer still stands, of course)
RE: Alice Cora Parker No. 11777612 Hi Norton, I didn't intend for you to transfer Alice Cora (Boggs)Parker's memorial to me just because I sponsored it. I just like to help other's who are searching for their love ones, and might find some information that they didn't know about and have been searching for. My great-grandmother was Mary Susan Boggs and was a sister to Alice Cora. Alice was 17 when married James H. Sherrick, age 20 on Jan. 1902.
Nicholas Coffee Nicholas married Mary J. Linn on September 25, 1873 in Grayson Co., Texas. They had Sarah born 1876 and died about 1894 Scott Co., IL ( per family history) and William Duncan born 1881 and died 1964 California. Not sure if Nicholas died before 1884 as Mary remarried James Hyatt in Scott Co., IL. Mary was my Gt. Gt. aunt. In 1880 they were living in Johnson Co., MO.
