|Bio and Links|
Permission is freely given to copy photos uploaded by me at Findagrave. If you wish to ADD or EDIT biographical data on a page maintained by me, please leave a message below or click on EDIT above someone's page. I appreciate folks sending me names of a deceased person's family or biographical info. Just seeing birth/death data is boring. Do you know more that can be shared to their memorial page? Just click on EDIT on the memorial page--at the upper right.|
I am happy to transfer a page to someone's friend or family member should they wish to take over their loved one's memorial and personalize it. Click on EDIT on the upper right of someone's page--up above the photo, to get a message to me. Registration on Findagrave is first required, and is free.
Recently Findagrave began a wonderful way of linking families with the "Family Links" feature. Because most of my work was done PRIOR to this new option, you may find pages of spouses and children who are not yet linked. Let me know and I will link them. But first: at the bottom of each memorial page is a F.A.G. number. Please include these numbers in any request to link pages. Don't forget to include your very own F.A.G. number if you request a transfer! I don't read minds and ask that you make it easy for me to know what page to transfer to whom.
NOTE: Editing "Family Links" between relatives can only be made from children to parents and also BETWEEN spouses. I cannot link a parent to his child--that option isn't given. For example, I can link my grandmother to her father and mother. The links then show up on all three pages. But I cannot first link my G-Grandfather to his daughter, as that option is not available.
SHARE your family history. Help other family researchers find their "lost" ancestors. Did you know Findagrave is one of the top genealogy sites? Grave markers deteriorate or are swept away by hurricanes, floods or neglect. Please snap photos to preserve on Findagrave or on another family history website. NOTE: Years ago when I first uploaded hundreds of grave photos, Findagrave had a limit of under 300 kb per photo--unlike today. Many of my photos are therefore cropped and quite small.
MANY thanks to our splendid hosts at Findagrave!
Why do I use this email address? CHUBB was our beloved cat who died at age 20. We like to think of her flying high in feline heaven, scouting field mice and cicadas. She was a fine huntress, and we dearly miss our big grey Chubb kitty.

Thanks for making the change. I cleaned Nancy's headstone last year and all the information is now readable. Yes, it is sad about the vandalism at the cemetery. Some workers from the Cherokee Nation mowed the cemetery last May before Memorial Day. Do you have any information about any other Gambill family members who might be buried there? I have been unable to locate where William James Gambill is buried. He could be buried in Missouri. Do you subscribe to Ancestry.com? I have my tree posted. If you see anything that needs to be corrected please let me know. Joe Ackley used to visit with my mother. I have some pictures of the twin sisters. You can also contact me at my e-mail address.
Thanks so much for contacting me. I really enjoy the research and look forward to hearing from you.

Hello. I am a fellow volunteer here on Find A Grave. I am a big supporter of our veterans (as I know you are) and I think they deserve to be honored upon every chance, including the small courtesy and recognition of having their military rank included on their memorials. (In the fashion of adding their rank added via the drop-down box, so that it appears in the title line of the memorial page)
Just wanted to ask you, -- when you get a chance, would you please check the "EDITS" tab on your F.A.G. profile page? I have sent one or more items for very minor corrections, a suggestion or addition of a plot number, etc. (including this one) and they are apparently still pending your review/action, as the manager of the memorial. For more information SEE: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#172
Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Best wishes for 2014.

I think Martha's parnets where Joshua Buffington Alberty and Sarah McCoy. Do you have any more information on Mary Beatrice Alberty and David Webster "Sunta" Vann? I can't find them listed on Find a Grave.

Thanks for the transfer and for the Oklahoma hints. They are much appreciated. Terry

Thanks,It's nice to have the family connected.
I,m sure you miss your dear CHUBB just as I miss my very good little buddy MORRIS. Perhaps they know and care for each other in the feline heaven that you spoke of. We were fortunate to have them in our lives for a short time. You can see MORRIS on my Facebook page if you care to look.
