Some people have asked if the Great Dane in the photo is my dog. No, he is not one of my "babies." My dogs do funny things, but not things that can be captured in still photos. One of them thinks it's necessary to check the toilet bowls a few times every day to make sure there aren't any critters there, even after 12 years of finding nothing. I have met only two dogs in my life I didn't like at least a little bit. I don't know about anybody else, but God gave ME two hands so I can rub two dogs at once.|
"It came to me
that every time
I lose a dog
they take a piece
of my heart with them,
and every new dog
gifts me with a piece
of their heart.
If I live long enough
all the components
of my heart
will be dog, and
I will become
as generous and
loving as they are."
I would like to thank contributor David Schram for the many, MANY long hours he has spent photographing graves in western Oklahoma, posting those photos, and adding memorials for those folks who didn't have one before. He has earned the feeling of great satisfaction!
I give a big THANK YOU to all contributors who take the time to send me edits and post photos and flowers to the memorials I add. I normally check for edits every day.
If there is a place in the USA or its protectorates where there are no tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes (dormant or active), hailstones bigger than peas, floods, tsunamis, hurricanes, blizzards, ice storms, sand storms, fire storms, freezing rain, sleet, droughts, or sinkholes; it doesn't snow before December or after March; it never gets below 30 degrees or over 95 degrees Fahrenheit; and it isn't a desert, would someone please tell me where that is?

Thanks so much for letting me know. I created both memorials and the photo. The issue was that Sandtown Cemetery is directy behind Greenmount with no dividing line or even marker for Sandtown Cemetery. When I added the photo I thought the stone was for a couple buried in Greenmount, so created a memorial for them.
I really appreciate your bringing it to my attention! Dee

I did use the edits, and linked my Uncle to to his parents. The system said it would review and notify me within a few days. Linking my Uncle to his parents is the only way I know to also link him to his sisters, and so on.
I was only be respective of your having added the information you have.
Its much more friendly to research family when the links show up to other family members who have passed. (parents & siblings).

Hi, my name is Brian, I've recently been transferring information from my Ancestry.com family tree, and linking Parents to their Siblings and visa-versa on Find A Grave.
I've submitted requests to Link the FAB records of my grand parents to their children, with the correct names and dates or birth/death.
I know yourself and others do a fabulous job building the indexes and helping so many find their ancestrial burial grounds.
I'm sending this just so you know I requested that the links be added to the system Admin, I guess, doesn't say who reviews it.

Dear DogMama08,Thank you for all of the hard and consuming work you take your time doing with Find a Grave.I must tell you and it would be a very easy mistake.Jack's name was just Jack and not James. He has an older brother named James who is very kind and is a physician and pathologist here in Oklahoma.I knew Jack for several years and during those years we dated. You could say he looked like a young Richard Gere but only MORE handsome. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life and truly never said a bad word about anyone. He has only one daughter I know who is beautiful and just as sweet. She is a hair stylist here in the city and is quite talented as Jack was an artist in his extra time himself. If you could just alter the information about him to the correct name it would be greatly appreciated.I do not know how.My email is firstname.lastname@example.org I also need to leave a kind message at the place where you can leave flowers as well.He is so very missed as you can imagine by his only daughter and very sorely missed by those who love him!
Thank you very much,Kathleen M. Bilodeau
