I grew up on the Carothers homeplace in McNairy County Tennessee, just a couple miles from Mars Hill Cemetery. My Carothers family came to McNairy County at the end of 1848 from Bedford County, Tennessee. From my ggg grandfather, Thomas Carothers, who was born about 1769/70 and died in the early 1850's, down to my sisters Dot and Josie, are all buried at Mars Hill. I heard the stories all through my youth, and realized that they'd all be lost in a few more years if someone didn't start keeping records; so I started. That was 35+ years ago. In all these years I have collected stories, photographs, and data from relatives, researchers, and rank strangers all over the country. It has been fun, and I use this means to share with others, and to memorialize that host of family members who all had lives, loves, strengths, weakness, and stories to tell.|

Thank you for letting me know I had made a duplicate memorial for William Hodge Davault. I have deleted it.
I noticed the nice picture you posted on the memorial and read your bio... You were so wise to have started collecting pictures, information and stories early. I didn't, and now there's no one left to ask or share. I know so very little about my ancestors's lives except what I can find on the internet. But I am thankful for that! : )

Thanks for transferring the memorials of Amanda and Solomon Weeks.
I have no issues with public messages. I always welcome a correction to my mistakes, public or private. I don't know everything and I doubt I ever will.
The photo requested to be deleted has been done.
Thanks for your input and your suggested correction.
