Deach certificate states he worked as Locomotive Engineer for the Missouri pacific railroad. most likely started after he came back from war, he may not have even gone overseas. All I can tell you is that the Baxter Bulletin newspaper was dated Oct 28, 1938 with a one line mention of his death.

Arkansas Death Records show:
D. C. Watts died 10/24/1938 in Baxter County. If the birth date on the stone is correct he died on his birthday. The Sept date was an error. Thanks for bring it to my attention.
