 | Death Certificates Hayley,
I found a lot of death certificates for Stucke people in the Missouri Archives. They lived in McDonald County MO. Did you know about this website? Every year they transcribe death certificates for Missouri deaths. I've done some of that myself.
Anyway, the website is: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/default.asp
Several of the certificates list John Stucke as father and Anna Lourner (sp?) as mother--both are from Switzerland. | | | Dolores Owen
 | John Stucke, Black Oak Cemetery Hayley,
I went to Braymer this morning to photograph some graves. You will see the photo I uploaded for John Stucke's monument. On the left side of his monument, there is an engraving for his wife, Anna. I do not know if this is Susannah and the photo is very hard to read.
I can email that photo to you if you like. I can't read the dates on it, but perhaps I can go back down there soon and take better photos or a rubbing of that monument. The sun was so bright and it was noon. I had to face into the sun to get the photo. Wish I had written down what I saw on the stone, but we ran out of time and had to get back to Kansas City.
Many of the older gravestones are hard to read. So sad.
