S. T. Estes Hello Billy, I appreciate you putting the picture on of Squire Turner Estes. He was the son of William & Susanah (Hiete)Estes and was born April 1836 in Caldwell County, Missouri. He was married 3 times: 1st to Mary C. Carroll, dau. of John & Mary Carroll; 2nd to Martha Ellen Pollard, dau. of Stephen W. & Mary L. Pollard (& the mother of my husband's paternal great grandmother Julia Ellen (Estes)Stuber, wife of Edward Benedict Stuber); 3rd to Martha E. Mount. He served in Co. C., 44th Missouri Infantry and fought for the Union, acquiring an invalid's pension before his death in 1900, his widow filing a widow's pension on July 10, 1900 in the state of Oklahoma. His 1st 2 wives are buried in Caldwell Co., Mo. and his 3rd is buried in the Black Cemetery with Squire and several of their children. Some of the children were buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, Ks.
