RE: Joseph B Skolasky photo
Hello -
He was my cousin 1x removed (first son of my great uncle, Toney Skolsky). I don't know why he died but am working on solving the mystery. Due to the year, I am wondering if he possibly died in WWI. I appreciate your offer to keep his grave cleaned up - so many are left to ruin.
I will let you know if I find out anything further about him. Just fyi, his middle initial is R for Robert.
Again, thank you!

Hi! There's actually an interesting story behind those Hookstra photos. I'm not related. I have to head into work now, but will email you what I know when I get home.

RE: Diamond
We do not think this is any relation. Our family was more from the south, Texas mainly. My dad was in World War II, but he was an only child and enlisted in Missouri.
Thank you though.

Thank you very much! How kind of you to send this note.

I have taken on doing several entire cemeteries in hopes that the information helps others.

My intentions are to honor those who have passed and let them be remembered for as long as possible.

South Dakota, huh? You're about as cold as I am!!! It was -20 yesterday. I am ready for green grass and flowers!!! ha

Did you know my mother Margaret Elliott? She and my father were both in the Marine Corps. Sorry I just have so many questions. Cindy

Next time you need an edit done for a memorial please click on the edit tab for that memorial. That makes it a lot easier than trying to type in all from the profile page post.

Thanks :)

I did get them linked for you though

Have a great day!
