I love family history and have enjoyed posting information and photos of family members' graves. I am always updating family geneology and get excited when I find another family line who has more information we can exchange.|

I'm so happy I found them. I'm walkin', I'm walkin', I'm walkin', I'm getting tired, I begin to doubt if they're there and BAM. There they were. All together. It was a great feeling. :) Glad you enjoyed as well. :)

Hi Elizabeth, Sorry I am just getting around to answering your message. I am related to Mary Blake Rector but distantly, and you are much closer related to her than I am, so I went ahead and transferred the memorial to you.
I have visited Haven Cemetery many times and am related to most everyone buried there either by blood or by marriage through my great, great, great grandfather Obadiah Smith.
After taking many gravestone photo's there, and adding memorials to findagrave, I took on the project to see that all memorials were listed and photos taken of all the graves in Haven Cemetery and added, if not on already, to the findagrave website. It was quite a project, but I enjoyed doing it, and am thrilled when people find a long lost relative.

Hi. My Mom was a cousin to Gerald Rector Gray and Warren Edward Gray, who were the children of James Edward Gray (Mom's uncle} and Maude (Rector) Gray, so Maude would be my Great Grand Aunt. We visited Iowa almost every summer from our home in Ohio when I was growing up to visit our Iowa cousins, so I am very familiar with the Grinnell - Tama - Nevada area (and cemeteries like Haven and Hazelwood). Actually, I am in the area tonight as I write this because I work the IndyCar race circuit and we are here for this weekend's race in Newton. Thanks for the additional Rector information. We have a large family tree on Ancestry.com......

my pleasure ; )
|Charlene Dodenhoff Patterson||Florence Coogle Hoult|
I linked Florence to her father John and then transferred her memorial over to you ~ her daughter Mary Ida "Mollie" was married to my 2nd cousin so that's my only connection to her. Charlene
|Charlene Dodenhoff Patterson||RE: Coogle Transfers|
I've transferred the memorials for John, Arah, Isaac & Benjamin Coogle to your care as requested ~ I'm not related so am happy to see family members be in charge of their own relatives. Charlene

My father was Dale C. Straughn, first cousin of Lowell. Dad was the oldest son of Hugh. I grew up in Chattanooga, TN. I now live in Murfreesboro, near Nashville, TN. I received much of my initial information from great Uncle Howard. I know Keith, Harold and Janet and keep in touch with them on Facebook. I would be pleased to share any information with you that I have. I'm afraid it may be a duplicate of what you already have.

I am a great grandson of Fernando "Doley" Straughn and my grandfather was Hugh D. Wondering how we are related. It has been some time since I have dabbled in the Straughn line. I was quite surprised to see the photos of my ancesters.
WOULD LOVE TO TRANSFER HER TO YOU BUT HAVE NO CLUE HOW. I JUST TAKE PICS AND ENTER WHAT I HAVE FOR INFO.
GIVE ME A CALL ANYTIME AFTER NOON ON ANYDAY BUT TUESDAY.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME;
I transferred George Carpenter 57990740 and his wife 47308667 to you.
