RE: Ralph Mercer Memorial
You are very welcome Gary, I had their headstone in a folder and just hadn't gotten it posted.

John Inman
I volunteered to take a picture of John Inman's grave at Mountview Cemetery here in Billings, Montana. His record # is 18639. The date of the burial was Nov. 7, 1918. The location of his grave is Section 99S(south) Row 217 and grave 12. I did locate the area where he is buried but there is no gravestone. I will send you a picture of the area. Charles Morgan, Rudolph Roth and Junior Miller's gravestones are in the picture. They are listed as being right next to his grave. This is the oldest section of the cemetery and it is possible that vandals destroyed the stone.

RE: Deweese
I am not really pleased how that picture came out, I thought I would get it early with the sun in the East. Unfortunately the is another shinny headstone right in front of that one(their childrens) and it reflected the sun light right back on that stone. It is quite a ways down there for me, but I will try something different next time.

RE: John Bandy
Hi John,
I don't think we had good archival information from the local newspapers. However, I serve on a local committee (Bring Our Boys Home) to research and archive information on area men and women who served in the Civil War. I will be attending a meeting tomorrow night and I'll see what I can find out about Sgt. Bandy. Was he a relative?

There was a woman of the same last name at Dayton. Don't remember the first name. Want that one too.
