John -
Thank you for posting INS's service and the flower. I was touched when I came upon it, after spending the day cobbeling together this family that had such a rough time.

I've added a photo and a spouse link to memorial 85571061, and thought since you had left a note a few months ago that you might find it to be of interest.

Hi John

Wish I could remember to use tab to go from subject to body of message instead of enter, thus producing a non-message the first time.

I do have relatives in this cemetery, but he isn't one of them. I used an on-line listing to add the missing graves to Find A Grave. I was contacted by someone yesterday about his information which was wrong in the listing I used. I'm going through the memorials one by one using Ancestry to complete or correct information for each, but I'm only up to G.

I offered the lady who contacted me a transfer if she's a relative, but if she doesn't accept, do you want him? That sounds as if Im trying to get rid of him, but my motivation for adding these memorials is to make them available to those who may not know where to look for their graves.

I thought for 20 years my ggg grandfather was buried in Portville, NY, only to discover he's actually in Black Creek, NY because someone else was kind enough to add all the graves from Black Creek when she did her own relatives. So I'm trying to 'pay it forward' for others.

You are to be commended for honoring our fallen military; you've inspired me to get out my collection of Civil War pension records and add the info to my ancestors.
