Have have been working on my family tree for the last ten years and am willing to take photos in my area, NE IA, for other researchers across the country. I have been known to try and find an obit for the stones that I photograph also. My motto is to "Pay it Forward". |
Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to help me out by taking a photo for me in your area.

Hello Jan, you are correct, I only made the memorials and added the stone photo. I 'adopted' Coloma Cemetery, and made memorials for all who didn't yet have one, and included photos for every visible stone. It's my passion to recognize those that have gone before us, and in hopes that those who are in search of them, can find them. I love the photographs that you have added. "Each Day Counts", Loretta

Thanks Jan! Maybe you can create a memorial for David Miller? He has family all around him with memorials ready to be linked. If you can't, thanks anyway for what you've already done!

Of course you can. It's good to hear from you again.

Jan, I finally got your pic and I took several more of other family members in case you'd like them. I'm still looking for Jerry (I think I went to High School with him) and Cecil. Won't give up.

I don't recognize any of those names. However, our distant past is a bit hazy. My great great grandfather was Johnny Miller (~1808 to ~1883), who was married three times. His first wife was Fanny (? to 1828?), according to the family Bible, and they originated in Pennsylvania. I'm descended from the Fanny marriage. Johnny also married a Catherine _ (~1808 to 1860/1866), and Cornelia Ann Palmer Hardin (~1827 to 1860/1883).
Things I don't know are what county in Penn they all came from, Fanny's last name/dates/burial and Catherine's last name. So, we might be connected back through the Johnny Miller marriages.
Edward is my great grandfather, and John Quincy is a half grand uncle. I have an extensive tree on Ancestry .com under "Descendants of Edward Miller." I've just now been creating links for Millers at Littleton. How are you connected?

I am so sorry that I haven't got your pictures to you. The weather is quite cold right now, but as soon as we have a nice day, I will definitely take these for you.

Thanks Jan, for the additional info on Gerald. I have added it and connected him to his parents also.
