|Hiesela||RE: Photos at strawberry Point|
I am so glad to get your message.. first I am very glad you liked the photos.. I take photos like I would like to see if I was not around to see it in person.. I do not care for the photos that just show a close up of the stone and the writing I would rather take a photo that shows the entire stone and write below the photo what is written on it if you can't read it by the photo.. I also like to take a family plot photo because sometimes people do not realize that someone is buried in the family plot.. and finally I enjoy seeing the area around the marker so you can get a feel for their last resting spot. :-) also not sure you are aware but they are not actually buried in Strawberry Point Cemetery.. there is a section of it that is actually St Mary's cemetery and they re buried there. Almost didn't look in there for them but as I drove around I happened to see the Hennessy large family marker.. I was just about to tell you that the other John who was listed in the family plot did not have a memorial page but then a "light" came on and I checked Saint Mary's in Clayton County and found all four listed there with photos already posted!

You are most welcome. 😀
|Linda J. Morris||Ops, I hit the wrong key|
Steve, I found a death certificate in Missouri that has me puzzled. It is for a child, Catherine Schnepp, born to John Schnepp and her and it made sure it had Miss on it. Both from Nebraska. I have a Schnepp family in Nebraska but can not be sure just which John Schnepp they are talking about or even if my Schnepp family was the only one in Nebraska. If she is ours, I want to claim her but if not, just leave it alone. Please let me know what you think. It is only 1 of two in a very large tree that I can't seem to figure out. Thank you very much.

Steve, I am looking for someone and hope you can help. Do you know of a Cora McKinney who was born 1892 and died 1982? She is buried in Iowa and is listed on Find A Grave but I need to find family before I say anymore. It concerns a death certificate in Missouri in Livingston Co. Would you be so kind as t leave a message.

Steve, did you know that in 1989 the Iowa Genealogical Society published "Delaware County, Iowa Cemeteries Colony Twp." ? The contributors from Delaware County created a list of burials for Oak Hill, Zion, St. Patricks, Simon Platt and Brown cemeteries. For Oak Hill, it gives row and section and numbers the graves.
|Mary Shaffer||Jungk photo has one more name|
On the Emma Duwe Jungk page there is a memorial with a stone with 5 names on it. Only 4 of the names are visible. Who is the last person on the right end of the memorial stone?
|Mary Shaffer||Jungks from Dubuque|
I am researching the Jungk family from Dubuque, Iowa. Do you know how this family connects with them? The two oldest Jungk or Yungk family members in Dubuque are Christian Yungk born 1822 and August Jungk born in 1815 both in Saxony, Germany. Possible birthplace Unterheinsdorf, Vogtlandkreis, Sachsen, Germany 50.61293, +12.33475
