I was born in CA.and moved to IA.in 1971 when my Dad retired from the U.S.Navy.He was born in Blanchard,IA.|
I personally find it disturbing that someone would rather hold on to a memorial that they are not related to because of the findagrave 4 generation "guidelines".It is a guideline people not a rule.Geez!
Why when asking for a correction do some people make it seem like a demand rather than a request?When making a request myself I always say please and thank you.Just the way I was raised!
I would prefer my created memorials were with family no matter how far down the line or even a friend.At least they are FAMILY!Isn't that why we do this?
DUPLICATES-I will gladly remove any duplicate memorial whether mine was made first or not as long as it isnt family.I enjoy helping others with their genealogy so if you need help or have a question I can help you with just ask away.
Any questions,additions,corrections,or transfers don't be afraid to ask.I try to be as accurate as possible in all memorials I create.Findagrave is not about "numbers" to me.Making sure people are remembered and not forgotten is.
If I use your gravestone photo on my family tree I give you credit with a simple "Photo courtesy of (your member name) findagrave".Because I so appreciate the kindness and hard work you do to get me a picture of my ancestors.
Any and all pictures I take are for you,so they are yours to use as you feel.The only exception being those marked "Courtesy of" which means I got those from someone else and was used with their permission.
If you see someone I have entered that is related to you and not to me I would be more than happy to transfer them to you.
If I have added a family member or your memorial and you have not passed yet and it upsets you PLEASE let me know and I will remove it immediately.It is not my intention to upset anyone.
Being a genealogist I have learned the importance of recording a stone as many people had stones that disappeared over the years and now family has no idea what cemetery they were buried in.
I AM NOT,NOR DO I CLAIM TO BE PERFECT!

Glenn, I've added the links in Sarah Hardenbergh's memorial to her parents as you requested. Thank you for letting me know about the links and for creating all these memorials for Sarah and her parents!

Thank you so much for allowing us the management of Nicklaus, Caroline, and Albert's FindAGrave memorials. It is greatly appreciated and we will take good care of them in your stead.

Thank you so much for photographing the headstone of Kenneth Pieken. He was my grandfather, and unfortunately, he died when my mother was a small child, so this memorial and a few pictures are all I have.
Thank you so much for photographing the headstone of Chris, Hattie and their son, Raymond Meyer. It's a beautiful photo. :)

|Heather Hall||Kitty Day|
Thanks so much for taking the time to find and photograph Kitty A. Day's headstone. I really appreciate it! Heather
|Susan Kelly||RE: Kelly's|
Thanks Glen. I think the only other one is managed by Deb (and yeah, it is not spelled correctly). I dont know that the other Kellys are related- at least not that I can tell. Are you related to this line? I noticed you mentioned it was one of your surnames and its a huge family- especially these days.

Thank you for taking the pictures.
Thanks so much for the photo of Carl Thurman's headstone. He is my sister-in-law's great-grandfather. Thank you!
