GUIDELINES are just that,a GUIDELINE,not a rule!

NUMBERS-Mean nothing to me.It's not about how many memorials can be added or managed.It's about the people who are thankful to be able to view a relative or ancestor they may have never known or seen and making sure those that passed before us are not forgotten!

CREATED MEMORIALS.I prefer the memorials created by me were with family no matter how far down the line or even a friend.

DUPLICATES-If mine was created first I will not remove it.There are exceptions though.If I accidently created a duplicate memorial I will gladly remove it.

EDITS,corrections,additions etc. gladly made.

MAIDEN names.As my work has evolved I try to add maiden names if available thru obits,censuses,family trees etc.Be kind if misspelled I copy as found.

YOUR GRAVESTONE photos.If I use your gravestone photo on my family tree I give you credit.

GRAVESTONE photos I've taken.Any and all pictures I take are for you,so they are yours to use as you feel.The only exception being those marked "Courtesy of" which means I got those from someone else and was used with their permission.

PHOTOS:Out of focus,bad color,shadowing etc.It happens,if you find one of my photos has this and wish for me to take a new one please just ask.I will gladly take another one if locally available.

If I have added a family member or your memorial and you have not passed yet and it upsets you PLEASE let me know and I will remove it immediately.It is not my intention to upset anyone.

Jonathan Gregg
Thank you soooo much for taking the photo of Jonathan Gregg's grave for me. I have been trying desperately to connect the pieces of my Gregg family that I descended from. With them having moved from Indiana, to Iowa, and then some coming back to Indiana, it proves challenging at times to get info from Iowa when I myself live in Indiana. Thank you again!

Thank You For Helping Us Walk Where Others Walked

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

We are Grateful to ALL of you!
