RE: James Baker Dear Ellie, Could you remind me what the information was and how it is different from yours for James Baker. Which James Baker was it? It doesn't show up in the edits that were turned down for me to look at. Thanks, Wendy
Daniel McCoy Hindustan Cemetery, Monroe County, IN - his death was mentioned in the Bloomington paper :
Bloomington (IN) Republican Progress, July 19, 1882, p. 3.
[From Washington township] Mr. Daniel McCoy, one of the oldest citizens of this neighborhood, died at the residence of his son, hear Hindoostan, Sunday evening. He came to Indiana in 1811 and was, at the time of his death, 91 years of age. He seemed to enjoy extremely good health until a short time previous to his death when he received a fall from which he never recovered.
Savannah Weddle Winkler Sorry, hit the wrong key... That's OK. I will send "edits" to you when I come up with info. Her daughter Eliza Belle was my grandmother's mother. My son found a webpage (no longer up, at this point) by a Don Winkler from Vincennes that was very interesting.
Rachel Bales Ferran So, when you go in to edit the links there is no number there for spouse? If there is a number, delete that number and don't put any number there. She then should be not linked to anyone. LOL, guess if there is no number then she's been linked by the two Isaac's. Geeez, what a mess! Will have to ignore and go forward. Thanks anyway! And warm hugs!
Rachel Bales Ferran That is alright - was hoping to fix the two Isaac's she is married to - so, if you will, unlink her from Isaac on your end, if that is the case, otherwise am uncertain how to fix her link to two Isaacs. If the person had transferred both Isaac's at the time the family member asked for it prior to merge then it would have all been one Isaac. I will double check if she get's unlinked when I finalize Isaac and if so, will link her back with him at that time. Thank you, A Farrand/Ferran descendant.
RE: Julius Bales I finally found the Ohio death records for Julius Bales. Thank you for standing your ground, that forced me to look deeper, trying to prove myself right. I have the names of all twenty of Julius's children by his two wives. If you need them just let me know. Julius raised 22 children including the two step daughters. Thank's again. Arlene
I am hoping you can help me. I am descended from Daniel and Aberilla King. I am having a very hard time connecting Daniel to George King and Mary Saunders. Can you please tell me how you made that connection?
Someone posted a will on Rootsweb that gave all the children of George and Mary and Daniel was not listed. He would have fit into the child bearing years but I have to wonder why he wasn't listed in the will. The deceased children were listed, so that isn't the reason.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am part of the family that went to Sullivan County, MO.
