Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Lexington, Kentucky area and have been interested in genealogy since I was a teenager. I began my early research transcribing my maternal grandmother's recollections of family history, and then verifying and documenting her memories with census records and tombstone inscriptions.

I am strictly an amateur, but am committed to being as methodical and accurate as possible. I prefer to only list memorials for graves I have visited and photographed. In addition, since I found Find A Grave, I happily photograph graves of non-relatives in nearby cemeteries. I want to help people find their ancestors and loved ones so they are not forgotten.

If you find I am managing a relative's memorial, contact me. I will happily transfer a memorial, unless it is someone I am more closely related to.

Re: Irvin C. Dunaway
Hi Penelope,

Thank you so very much for posting the headstone of my grandfather, Irvin C. Dunaway. He was born Feb 8, 1922 and died at the early age of 22 on 5/4/1946 just a little over a month before my mother was born. My mother Wanda Dunaway was his only child, and they never even met. I had no idea that he was buried in Lexington National Cemetery. I will be paying him a visit.
If you have any further information on my grandfather I would really love to have it. I would like to be able to find some of my family on his side. I met some of them once when I was a small child, and have never seen them again.

Best regards,

Tina Griggs

Their headstones are just in front of Edward Isaac Reed. Do you know if they are related?

I see in photo request for these two people in Old Union Church Cemetery,Loradale,Ky,that you were not able to find them. I am their fifth great grandaughter from Madison Co, Ohio. I do genealogy also. They are buried there, but their markers are not there, probably destroyed,or buried (not likely)but they can not be found. Thanks so much for looking, but wanted to let you know you will not fid them.
