Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching the families of my wife and mine for about thirty years. It is great to learn about family and their migrations.
If anyone finds mistakes on my entries or would like to add information, please contact me. I have been going to cemeteries in my area and have been entering photos and info so many of my entries aren't family. It is always great to meet new family and friends.

-------------------------------------------
With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.

--------------------------------------------
When requesting links, please give me the name of the person plus the ID number. This insures I link the correct person, mother, father or spouse.

On ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, LINKS or TRANSFERS for any Memorial, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON and Suggest A Correction or provide additional information. Any of the above posted on my message board will be ignored and deleted.

IN OTHER WORDS, SEND A SAC! Please, no bulk transfer requests!

I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable.

We want the memorials of those we loved to be as nice as possible.

Thank you!

Robert Edwin Northrup (#67075332)
Is Robert any relation to Samuel Floyd Northrup (1891-1943), who was born in NY. Robert's wife, Ruth, is a second cousin of mine once removed.

This is not surprising, considering what I have found on the rest of the records. I appreciate the information and all of your work in Find A Grave. I'll see what I can do to get it corrected. Thanks!

Ina Lee Thompson
Ina Lee Thompson was born September 22, 1895 in Bates County Missouri and died in Prowers County, Colorado January 1, 1931. Her parents were Willis and Medley Belle (Gragg) Thompson. She had one brother, Henry born in 1898.

Shorty after the 1900 US census, the family, including Medley Belle's mother, Martha Jane Leakey, migrated to Colorado in a covered wagon and settled in Prowers County, Colorado.

Ina Lee and Isaac Carl Cartwright were married on November 20, 1913 and had four children that reached adulthood:

Eugene Monroe Cartwright 1916-1996
Blanche Cartwright 1917-1969
Erma Isola Cartwright 1920-1998
Laura Mildred Cartwright 1923-1995

Isaac Carl Cartwright
Isaac Carl Cartwright was born February 1, 1859 in West Mannington, Marion, West Virginia, the son of Thornton F. Cartwright and Nancy (Kerns) Cartwright.

He was married first to Rosella Holt on March 8, 1894 in Springfield Baca, Colorado. Secondly he married Ina Lee Thompson (born September 22, 1895 in Bates County Missouri) on November 20, 1913. Because his second wife, Ina Lee, was only 18 when they married, he maintained that he was born in 1869, hence the error on his tombstone and his age. He was actually 84 at the time of his death.

This union had five children:

Infant died in 1914
Eugene Monroe Cartwright 1916-1996
Blanche Cartwright 1918-1969
Erma Isola Cartwright 1920-1998
Laur Mildred Cartwright 1923-1995

RE: Martha Miller
I'll see what I can find on her. Maybe it will help you out. My old mind forgets a lot of "stuff", so it's good we can all work together to expand these sites.

Thanks for all you do to promote family genealogies.

Karen I.
