CATHOLIC MOUNT AUBURN - UPDATE 3-4-2015
2nd edit 1854 - 1920. Completed 4/11/1854 - 12/31/1920 - 21,830 burials.
Comparison completed of Findagrave postings to my spreadsheet. Edits and corrections made.
It appears that many infant children deaths, and some adults, were not recorded by certain cities & towns.
Many burials at Catholic Mount Auburn are misidentified on the City/Town death records as being buried at other cemeteries. All area cemeteries are mentioned. The Mount Auburn Cemetery (noted at Cambridge) is incorrectly noted many times.
1854 - December 31, 1920 Edited using death certificates. Online death records end at 1920. MISSING RECORDS:
Missing June 1, 1882 - December 31, 1884
Jan 1 1910 - June 30, 1911

Not sure if the grave is near the front enterance but I do remember it being either the 1st or 2nd row near the fence on Cottage Street.

I'm afraid I did not know him but it would have been a honor to do so. He served in the same battalion as my brother. There is a 2/60 web site with a message board if you would care for the link to that. That site is where the photo came from.

Thank you once again for info on the grave location. I'm sure I'll be able to find it and you've provided me with additional names. I am now researching Mary Golding Boyle who is buried there. She could be by great-great-great grandmother. In addition, I'm tracing Henry Wright who I think could be Ellen's son-in-law.

She may remain a mystery for a bit then. There are too many Mary Bennett's with too many spouses with her birth yr on FamilySearch and I was hoping a headstone would help. I guess I'll have to keep chipping away.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of my great-great grandmother's grave and marking the exact location. I should be able to find it with your helpful hint of the name on the adjacent headstone. You have made my day!
Thank you. Working on the lineage now as you will see.
