| Bio and Links | I grew up in Lexington, MA, which may explain in part my interest in colonial history. I retired a few years ago after 20 years as a computer programmer. I generally photograph colonial cemeteries or at least the oldest sections of them. I studied early New England history in the 90s. My cousins got me interested in genealogy a few years back. I've always loved photography.
I would like to thank everyone who has offered corrections and additions as any new information makes the memorials that much better. I always want more info.
Feel free to use any of my photos. All I ask is that you credit me for taking them. Please email me if you can't credit me. But do not post my photos to Find-a-Grave. Ask me to do it.
Please, when offering corrections or additions to my memorials, USE EMAIL. (e.g: use the edit tab but send by email rather than posting the message to my contributor's page.) And please include the memorial number as I have created thousands.

May I have your ok to use your photo of the marker for Samuel Hastings 27176414 in my ancestry.com family tree? His first wife, Lydia Church was my 7th great grand aunt. I will be certain to give you credit for the photo. Thanks for considering this.

 | Fanny Harrington Skelton16770172 Thank you for posting all of the updates and family information I sent to you yesterday. That was a quick response and you did a nice job. Would you consider transferring the memorial to me since I am a relative, though not within Find a Grave guidelines? | | | Darlene Findarle
 | Mary Proctor Horner I so appreciate that you linked Mary to her parents John and Mehitable Proctor. I am enjoying seeing the result of your fine work. Thank you so much. Darlene Findarle | | | Victoria Camp

 | RE: Thomas Richardson 1675-1715 Thanks for responding so quickly, now I understand and it is no problem, and Find A Grave is very unresponsive. Yet considering all the complaints and requests they get, it would be a job to keep up. I am glad those names are there, as it proves my genealogy work. Thanks again | | | JoAnne Peake Lotspeich
 | Thomas Richardson 1675-1715 Thomas Richardson memorial #19531855. For some reason his wife Abagail Ruggles Richardson and daughter Sarah Richardson Crosby's memorials are no longer in Find A Grave, yet they show as clickable under the above Thomas's memorial. There must be some little problem that you would want to be aware of. These are family members (of that time, lol).

 | Rumney Marsh Cemetery, Revere Hi Bill, Thank you for already giving me permission to use your photos for the above cemetery, where I have 3 direct ancestors buried. Imagine my surprise when I went this weekend (from Lowell) to discover the cemetery completely locked, and no way to get in. I have a genealogy blog, "Life From the Roots" and will use 3 of your photos with credit, naturally. For the photos I've taken, I also allow free access, and I know how people appreciate it. From another former, 8-year Lexington resident. | | | | [View all messages...] |
