Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm an avid photographer/archivest, having taken the majority of both my and my husband's family's graves. We take (outdoor) cemetery photos from March/April to November or December/snowfall within an hour or so in all directions of N'east Wisconsin, incl: Outagamie; Winnebago (our county); Calumet; Manitowoc; Sheboygan to the East; and in the West: Waushara, and some of Portage, if we're in that area. Mausoleum photos, of course, can be taken all year.

NOTE to those requesting grave photos in Wisconsin: We won't see any ground-level graves until at least April, given the weather this Winter. Continuous snowfalls; dreadful, bone-numbing windchills; etc. Thanks for understanding!

Here's a poem that touches my heart. It is the reason we are in this service; for both the living and those who have gone on before us.

Today we walked where others walked On a lonely, windswept hill; Today we talked where other cried For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched By graves of tiny babies; Snatched from the arms of loving kin, In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay In the last sleep of their time; Lying under the trees and clouds - Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot; Who lies beneath this hollowed ground? Was it a babe, child, young or old? No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay. We had been here once before On a day we'd all like to forget, But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin The graves of ancestors past; To be preserved for generations hence, A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend, For stones sometimes crumble to dust And generations of folks yet to come Will be grateful for your trust.
When corresponding, please indicate the name of the person/people whose grave photo I took. Thanks! :)

In the memorial you set up for Anna Arens you linked in Franz Arens as her spouse-- please review as Franz was a 1 year old child as you show in your records. The above memorial is for Franz and you can get to Anna from there.

Hi Linda, I noticed you had several Maass names in your history. Maass is the last name of my grandads mom. Her name was Bertha Maass and she moved out here--Spokane, Wa from Wisconsin. I would like to see what other relatives and bits of history I could find. Sue

I have a question regarding the headstones for Joseph and Anoinette and Raymond Monty. There is a headstone next to Raymond for Uriah Deitzen. Is this a separate plot as he isn't a member of the Monty family? We have contacted the cemetery but they have no information.

Hi Linda and William,
I was wondering if you are a relative of Evelyn C. Diermeier?

Ray C. Leach # 48836856
The individual photo that you added to Ray Leach's memorial doesn't appear to belong to Ray C. Leach. The name and the dates don't match the memorial. The wide shot matches.

Would you please look into this? Thanks!

As I was searching this cemetery, I noticed that this memorial had also been entered as #76215928.
Please consider merging the two and eliminating the duplicate.
Thank you.

Anna Head
On the entry for Anna Nancy Head, 105633712, you have posted a grave photo for the wrong Anna. The photo you posted should be moved to the entry for Anna Margaret Head, 128712140.

Your Poem
I took the time to read your poem and it touched me to the core. It reflects so much of why we do this job of making a record and capturing the info for our fellow searchers. The time we spend on earth is so small compared to eternity and with any amount of luck we will have ancestors following us who will wonder about us too. Everyone deserves to be remembered and honored, no matter how simple their life or death was. Keep up your good work.
