I have been working on my family - Skinner and Courtney family on my father's side and Edwards and White on my mother's side for nearly 30 years. I have many, many pictures of graves. Most of them are Scott and Harrison counties in Kentucky. Also have some in Grant, Owen, Bourbon, Fayette counties, KY. Will be happy to send pictures to anyone or may go find a grave and take pictures for you, if I don't have them.

I'm going to try to bug John until he just can't stand it anymore. If he won't, I'm going to try to get someone at Find a Grave to delete the duplicates. He's done a lot of work, but if all he does is create a page with no info except what's on the stone and add a photo, he needs to cooperate with the families when they want to make the page more complete. I understand why there are so many duplicates (I found about 8). If he won't add info and won't transfer them, there is no choice but to create a new page. To top it off, he created two memorials for my stepmother, himself, one with a picture and one without. | | | Donna Hoffman

Donna, Sue Baker and I are also working with the Scott County Cemetery Project. We are working on the Beard Cemetery. One of the first things that I am finding is that there are a lot of duplicate memorials. One of those is evidently some of your family, Virgie Courtney Dunn. You may want to check to see if you have not made an error in the dates. Another contributor has created the duplicate site and I am trying to make contact in order to delete some duplicates. I am a firm believer that, if there is someone who has a personal connection, they should be the ones who manage the memorials. You have done a lot of work. I see you (rather, your name) everywhere. Keep up the good work!

Hi, I am a volunteer for the Scott County Cemetery project and am visiting local cemeteries to make sure every headstone that is readable is recorded in FindaGrave. I was out reviewing Hinton Cemetery on Davis Turkey Foot last night, and happened to notice that the birth year for William George Hinton is 1841 and not 1844. It is actually visible in the picture I took, the same shot that you already had recorded. I only mention this as I am trying to ensure accuracy across the County.
