Bio and Links
Bio Photo We live in Southern Indiana, across the Ohio River from Louisville Kentucky. We have always been interested in all of the history that is in the old cemeteries around where we live. We are currently working to get memorials and pictures of all the veteran's buried in Floyd and Harrison counties in Indiana (I know this is going to take a long long time). We have family buried in the area, going back to the early 1800's. Surnames of some of our ancestor's are: Beaty, Byrn, Smith, Wright, Cash, Galloway and Shofner.
If you find an error we have made on a memorial or want us to add information please contact us under "suggest a correction" on the memorial site.

Just a head's up - there are at least 14 duplicates of your memorials in this cemetery - I send an SAC (for each) requesting each memorial be deleted, however you may wish to monitor the progress on your end :) Best of luck!

Samuel E Ellis 1842
Samuel is my 2nd great grand uncle. On the 1860 Census, it has J as his middle initial. Could you confirm E or J for me? Thanks

Do you happen to know the parentage of Amba? Could she have been a Spurgeon?

Donna Schulz
Daniel K. Starr
Hello,
My name is Donna Schulz and I am trying to correct an error of mine. I copied (from another ancestry.com tree) your photo of Daniel Starr's headstone. I now realize that I should have gotten your permission first to use this photo in my ancestry tree. Would you grant me such permission? I will, of course, credit you for the photo. However, if you would like me to delete it, I will do so. Would you please let me know either way?
Thank you for your consideration!
Donna

Pleasant Ridge Cem.
You are doing a wonderful job, but the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery you list as being in Floyd Co., IN is actually in Wood Twp., Clark Co., IN. Hope this helps.
