We live in Southern Indiana, across the Ohio River from Louisville Kentucky. We have always been interested in all of the history that is in the old cemeteries around where we live. We are currently working to get memorials and pictures of all the veteran's buried in Floyd and Harrison counties in Indiana (I know this is going to take a long long time). We have family buried in the area, going back to the early 1800's. Surnames of some of our ancestor's are: Beaty, Byrn, Smith, Wright, Cash, Galloway and Shofner.

I am searching for a Richard Philip Berst b 1875, IN. d ?? Wife Helen S McGath She remaried and is buried in AZ. 1840 census; list Helen as living in Jax, IL. she is head, philip not listed! It is said that Philip is buried in: Woodwreath Cemetery, Island Grove He is not listed in Find A Grave, do you have access to, or know someone who has cemetery reords?
