|Bio and Links|
I have been passionate for over thirty years in seriously tracing my family.I have travelled yearly with my sister or my hubby all over the US digging through original records in courthouses, gathering material directly in local libraries, state libraries and crawling through cemeteries. I discovered FAG about 4 years ago and realized that so many kind people had posted wonderful things about my kin. So, I thought that my info would mean something and it was time that I help other people. I did not know how to do it so I posted flowers and wrote a bio on the decedent on their memorial. A kind lady very active on FAG told me I was doing it wrong. She told me to first request that a memorial be transferred to me and then put the bio in the proper place. If the person managing it cared, they would ask me to explain my relationship. Or, I can send info to them. This has worked very well and I have found new cousins! You are welcome to share my info but it would be nice to give me credit also.|

Find A Grave Memorial# 32432800
Does anyone know if this Lucinda is Lucinda Stephenson, born about Feb 1853 in OH or IN? My Lucinda married George Hullinger 17 Aug 1871 in Hamilton Co, IL. They moved around and her husband, George, died in MO in 1915.
This Lucinda was the daughter of Robert Thomas Burris and Erin Lee. She was born in Ohio

I am happy to transfer baby Stephenson into your care. You will need to update his mother's bio as you only mention two baby daughters lost in infancy. I can't imagine the loss of three babies. What a difficult trial to go through.

I think you are wonderful to do this! I have found some of my best info on relatives on Find A Grave. Love it! I am new to this site and wondered if you could answer a question for me. A Mr. Craig Rohrer was taking care of my uncles Find A Grave page but Craig apparently passed away recently. I would like to transfer the acct to me and update it, I wrote to Find A Grave but haven't received a response yet. Any ideas for me? And sorry to hear about your accident. And I am so glad you sound like you are doing better. Good luck in the healing process. Happy History Hunting!

re: Matilda Fry & James Stephenson
Hello, friend and fellow researcher. I appreciate your additions to my family research. Could you please clarify the wedding date of Matilda and James on Matilda's Find A Grave page, Bass Lake Cem? She was born 1840 and listed as married 1814. Would love to have the accurate marriage date. Thanks so much! Happy Hunting! ;) crazy typos!
|Airrow||RE: Margaret Cooper Transfer|
Sorry we are not directly related since I am only related through Mary Cooper's second husband, Jess Nowels. I tend to extend my research a lot, thus entered her parents, Margaret and Harrison Cooper. I had data on Mary and her siblings but over time just had not entered it or requested links which now has been done. Again I'm happy to add any data you want and give you credit. I do believe by linking to your memorial for Joseph that is a type of credit leading to you. Also your flower still exists with its information. You are right, it is not right to add data via flowers. Better to use the automated suggest a correction feature under the edit tab which now has fantastic update features linking directly to the appropriate memorial. Hope you enjoyed the updates and links I added.

F A G Guidelines:
"Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. "
Please explain how you are related to the persons you have requested transfers for.

At this time I would prefer to maintain this memorial. I will be happy to consider any changes or additions you may wish. I added links this morning to her father and as many of her children as I can confirm.

Are you still with F.A.G? I've been trying to get ahold of some people who are directly related to the Stephenson families. If you'd call me at 574-216-8111 or e-mail me at email@example.com I'd sure appreciate it. HELP.
I'm in Indiana now not VA. I'm selling my VA house as my oldest daughter (here in IN) says I need to be near her because I'm "...getting old and feeble". HA
|Carrie Zarnoch||Dan Post|
Hi, I was wondering if in your research on Dan Post you ever came across the name Joseph Hall or his wife's, Lucy (Rawson) Hall. Dan Post was one of the administrators on Joseph Hall's estate in May of 1813 along with Joseph's wife Lucy. The Letter of Administration is still available in the Surrogate's Court in Herkimer Co., NY. I know several of Lucy's brothers lived in Newport as well, so I'm not sure why Dan was an administrator on the estate. Trying to figure out if he's related or if Joseph Hall came to Newport from Saybrook, CT as well and they were close friends or something.
|Dave Davisson||M E Davisson|
My records may be wrong. I checked the Indiana WPA transcripts and it is indeed Moses E Davisson who is recorded as dying June 24, 1885, although the age back dates correctly to Mahal's brithdate, not Moses. Let me look into this further, sorry for the bother. I will try to obtain a copy of the actual death record and learn whether it says Mrs. Moses E Davisson, or whether the grieving family member gave the wrong birthdate to the stone cutter.
