|Laramie Harness Jr.||Hiram Taylor|
Someone posted the wrong headstone picture. That is why it looks like I wrote the wrong information. The Hiram you are concerned about is the elder Hiram's Grandson. Son of Calvin Taylor.

I have not had much time to work on Find a Grave and many times it is so very slow. Brenda Horton added a Marietta Chambers #22306651 The stone seems to be twins - Marietta and Chilander aged 2 months one dying a few days before the other. The dates I can make out are 9-20-1838 for Marietta and 10-1-1938 for Chilander. In the photo that I added I cleared the grass and you can clearly see that it states "Children of O and L Chambers. The county records show their date of death as 1886. (Row 15 West side) Is this what you have in your records? Would you please add Chilander Chambers and I can then add the photo. - Margot

Thanks for updating this so quickly. I have a story to tell.....the Starke County History book (page 456) gives information on Fred Arndt, who was a local farmer just across the county line. Fred is a son of Christian Arndt (where he spent his last years). The story is that Christian and his wife and son and daughter immigrated, the wife was buried at sea, and he began his life on the farm as a single parent until he remarried. Mrs. John Geisler is listed as a child of Christian Arndt. Also, "Crist Arndt" is listed as father of Hattie on her death certificate but no mother's name is listed.
As always, these stories are certainly more interesting to those of us who are descendants.
Thanks again. Anything I can do to help you out, please let me know.

Hello Robert, Thank you for posting the above referenced on findagrave.com. Can you correct the spelling of her maiden name to "Arndt." Her father, Christian Arndt, is buried in Starke County along with her brother.
Thanks very much for your efforts. It is greatly appreciated.

I posted a photo of a stone for what I believe are twin boys from O & L Chambers. It is located in Row 15 West side. You have entered one of the children on Find A Grave - Marietta Chambers but there is no listing on Find A Grave nor in the county online for Chilander Chambers whose DOD may be Oct 1 1886. Look at the photo I left for Marietta on Find A Grave. At the very bottom you can make out "children of O & L Chambers"
Another set of children for JL & YC (that is what I make out) Druper is what is listed in the county online. On Find A Grave you have one son JAY listed as Draper. There is another son Johnnie. Do you know the correct last name? I did add a photo for Jay on Find A Grave. Any help on these two would be appreciated.
